RICKEY, ELAINE (formerly Johnston) (Member of the Florence Nightingale Chapter #5, Order of the Eastern Star, Brockville, ON) passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Monday, October 22, 2007. Elaine Johnston, beloved wife of Fred Rickey. Loving mother of Fred Rickey of Mississauga and Betty Worsley of Markham. Cherished by her grandchildren Kevin of Scarborough and Peter (Debbie) of Mount Vernon, N.Y., Becky of Peterborough and Brendan of Markham. Survived by her brother Stanley H. Johnston Jr. (Carol) of Mentor, Ohio. Dearly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Stanley H. Johnston and Viola (McIlrath), her step mother Irene (Aikens), sister Mildred Orebaugh.
Friends will be received at the Township Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 435 Davis Drive (Centennial Dr. and Taylor Kidd Blvd) on Friday, October 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Family Service will be held, with the interment in Oakland Cemetery, Brockville.
For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to UHKF Southeastern Ontario Cancer Centre or the CNIB in memory of Elaine.

Peacefully passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital on Thursday, October 25, 2007, in her 65th year. Beloved wife of the late Ted McDonald and daughter of the late Mike and Agnes Huniak. Dear sister of Ted (Helen) Huniak and Wanda (Mike) Bohach all of Hamilton. Loving aunt of Laurie (Kevin) Fraser, Michael (Laurie) Huniak, Susan (Stephen) Clarke, David (Helga) Bohach and Linda (Paul) Kush. Great-aunt to many other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North on Sunday, October 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Monday, October 29th at 9 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Millgrove Cemetery. If so desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to McMaster Medical Centre.

ARNETT, Linett passed away peacefully, after a long illness, at St. Joseph's Hospital, with her daughter Jean at her side, on Friday, October 19, 2007 in her 86th year. Dearly loved mother of Jean, Cherie and her husband John, Brenda and her husband Matt, Winsome and her husband Helmut, step-daughter Yvette and her husband Victor. Cherished grandmother of Gary, Terry, Bridget, Lisa, Nicholas, Matthew, Melissa, Kevin and Bethann. Sister to Pearly, Vonny and Ralston.
She will be sadly missed by her other relatives and friends.

On October 14, 2007 at his residence, with Leona at his side, a loving husband of 39 years. Loving brother, uncle and grandfather. Loved father of Guy and Tanya and their children Colton and Ashton, Anita and Kevin and their children Hannah and Harrison, Candida and Marvin and her children Madison and Chinara, Michael and Lisa and their children Carina, Sabina, Melissa and Olivia, and Elmita. Also survived by sister Esther and Ken Lee, and brother Tony Rigg, and many more family and friends. Alfred was a long standing member and Sergeant at Arms at RHLI. He was employed at VFT Canada.
