On April 12, 2008 Mr. Arnold Pubantz passed away at the age of 79.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 55 years Frieda, his children as well as extended family and friends.

Moston Keddy Strong, age 95, of Scotch Village, Hants County, passed away on Saturday, April 5th, 2008, in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor.
Born on July 3rd, 1912, in Hantsport, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Fredrick Fred Osbert Strong and Harriett Alma (Borden) Strong.
Moston maintained and operated mixed farming most of his life. He was a member of the Newport United Baptist Church, Scotch Village, and liked to attend church suppers and other church functions. He enjoyed visiting family and friends, selling his apples door to door, and telling stories. He also loved to go hunting and fishing.
Moston is survived by sons, Laurie Strong, Scotch Village; Mostyn (Mabel) Strong, Scotch Village; Burten (Sylvia) Strong, Greenwood; Leigh (Evelyn) Strong, Scotch Village; Chris (Jeannine) Strong, Scotch Village; Wray Strong (Judy Bonnell), Martins River; daughters, Twila Fairn, Halifax; Marlene (Tony) MacDougall, Orleans, Ontario; sister, Ella May Alley, Bedford; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Moston was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Ida May (Leopold) Strong (2002); daughter, Martha Harriett in infancy; grandson, Peter Strong; great-granddaughters, Megan and Kayla Ehler, in infancy; sisters, Harriett Woodman; Hilda Munro; and a sister, Beulah, in infancy; brothers, Bowman Strong; Paul Strong; and Clifton Strong; son-in-law, Don Fairn.
Visitation will be held, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, April 10th, 2008, in Lindsay s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor (902-798-2232).
Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 11th, 2008, in the Newport United Baptist Church, Scotch Village, with the Rev. Garnet Parker officiating, assisted by the Pastor Geoff deJong. A private family interment will be at the Scotch Village Century cemetery , Scotch Village.

She is survived by her children Jeff and Cara Stoll, of Clinton; and Marcy and Shane Lauchlan, of Grande Prairie Alberta. It is with great sadness that we announce Linda's passing on March 15, 2010. She is survived by her loving husband Roger, daughter Michelle and her husband Andy Souchereau and son James 'Jay' Poirier and Sarah Morand. Loving grandmother to Alex, Emma and Bradley Souchereau. Devoted daughter of Ronald and Lillian Chevalier and daughter-in-law to Janet Poirier (Maurice 2005). Sister and sister-in-law to Sandra McGrath, John Chevalier, Jeff and Josee Chevalier, Paul and Diane Poirier, Gail and Lionel Baillargeon, Maureen Billing and Gerald and Tammy Poirier. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Linda was employed with CIBC for 30 years finishing her time with them at the Devonshire Rd. Branch in May of 2000. She followed that up with her chosen career ...retirement. This allowed her time to spend many wonderful days with the grandkids and gal pals 'The Chix'. Always wanting to have the last word, Linda prearranged her cremation and requested a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (519-735-2830).
