It is with great sadness that her loving family announces the passing of Pina at the age of 38. She was a loving mother; she will be sadly missed by her son Cody and husband Tony. Daughter of Giuseppe and Marianna, sister to Tony, Rosa, and Bruno. Mother-in-law Ita, sister-in-law to Silvana, Blair, Neil, Steven, Chris, Nancy, Tim and Tammy. Of Wheatley formerly of Amherstburg. passed away peacefully at age 75 years after a short, but courageous battle with Mesothelioma on April 5th, 2008 at Leamington District Memorial Hospital. Loving husband of 54 years to Mary (nee Farmer). Son of the late Albert & Alma Paquette of River Canard. Dear father to David of Wheatley, Brenda & Kevin Smith of Amherstburg. Pipi to Jennifer & Brandon Bechard of Windsor, Stephen Paquette of McGregor, Natalie & Luigi D Ambrosio of Amherstburg, Megan Smith & fianc Matt Hennin of Amherstburg. Luc retired from General Chemical where he worked as a millwright for 42 years. Visiting at the JAMES H. Mrs. Jean Burney Seymour

SEYMOUR (Trewin), Jean Burney - 82, Lower Sackville, passed away peacefully at home on April 4, 2008, surrounded by her family. Born in Lee-on-Solent, Hampshire, England, she was the daughter of the late Rev. George Stanley Trewin (Singapore) and Janet McBean (Scotland). During the 1940s, Jean served her country in the Auxillary Territorial Service, transmitting and receiving coded messages in the Egyptian desert with the Royal Signals. Postwar military service took her to Germany, Scotland, and northern England. She married Leslie Seymour, a Foreman of Signals (FOS) on March 30, 1950. The Seymours were then stationed in Singapore where Jean had their first daughter. They returned to England where two more daughters were born before the family immigrated to Montreal in 1968. After moving to Halifax in 1976, Jean was involved in the ministries of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Calvary Baptist Church, and Rock Church. Besides once serving as a cook at Prince Edward Island's Atlantic Pioneer Camp, Jean had an ongoing interest in the gypsies of England, donating materials to their traveling churches. After the arrival of her grandchildren, Jean received her diploma from the Institute of Children's Literature. She wrote a young adult novel, "Angie and her Wartime Guests", and a number of short articles for various publications. As well as speaking to local students about her wartime experiences, Jean read her novel's Christmas chapter on a national CBC Radio program in 1999. Jean is survived by her husband of 58 years, Leslie Horace Alfred Seymour, and her three daughters, Jacqueline (Nicholas) Zerebecki, Mullica Hill, N.J.; Gillian (Stephen) Davidson, and Julia (Richard) Benwell, both of Lower Sackville, and her grandchildren, Anya, Erika, Lisa, Andrea, Heather, Marc, Andrew, Christopher and Anna. She was predeceased by her sister, Yvonne (Les) Cusworth. Visitation will take place in Atlantic Funeral Home, Sackville Drive, on Sunday April 6, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held in Rock Church on April 7 at 2 p.m., Pastor Ted Yuke officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gypsies for Christ (www.gypsiesforchrist.org) or World Compassion Society (Terry Law Ministries).

Peacefully, at the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, with her family by her side, Mrs. Hilda Mary Robinson (nee Morrison) passed away in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Eric Robinson. Dear mother of Angela (Stephen) Brunner. Cherished Grandma of Andrew Charles English, Paul Richard English, Derek Stephen Brunner and Gregory Roy Brunner. Hilda will be missed by her dear friend Sheila Clark. The family would like to thank the staff of Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital for their compassion and care. Cremation has taken place. Peacefully at the Huronia District Hospital, March 29, 2008 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Pansy Joyce. Loved and missed by daughter Patricia and her husband Jack Goodfellow. Survived by brother Tom Sullivan of Toronto, sister Maureen Asquith of Barrie and many nieces and nephews. John was born in Dublin, Ireland and immigrated to Canada at the age of four. He served in the RCAF during WWII and married Pansy in 1944 while stationed in Vancouver. Aftre working in the aircraft industry, John founded his own company, Quality Aluminum Castings, in Brampton. John retired to the Midland area and enjoyed a productive retirement hobby-farming, horse racing, playing pool and the stock market. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

Loving grandmother of Jaime Vickers and husband Paul Poirier, and Jennifer McGuire (Derek). Will be remembered by her sister in-law Kay Taylor (nee Theil) (Harry), and brother in-law Joseph Schaffer (Violet March 2007). Predeceased by her brother John Theil. Ann was a devoted member of Corpus Christie Roman Catholic Church (St. Gabriels) where she was an organist for 42 years. Ann was also a retired employee of Morris Sutton Funeral Home. A special thank you to the staff at Huron Lodge for all their care and compassion shown to Ann for the past few years and especially during this last week.
