Read, Mary: Peacefully passed away on Good Friday, March 21, 2008. Mary was the loving wife of the late Ernest Read and the loving mother of Eric Read of Edmonton and Janet Prada of Orillia. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Danielle, Joshua and Katelyn Prada. Mary will be sadly missed by her beloved friend Elizabeth Hway of St. Catharines.
Mary nursed for many years, was involved with the Chapel Singers & Sunshine Singers as well as a faithful member of Carleton United Church.
Mrs. Read is at the NIAGARA ST. CHAPEL of BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 424 Niagara St. (south of Scott) where the family will received friends on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Carleton United Church, 527 Carlton St. on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. followed by interment at Victoria Lawn cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of one s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully after a brief illness, with his family by his side, on Thursday March 11, 2010, in his 80th year. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy. Survived by Andrew and Tracy (Carlyle) Prince and grand daughter Rachel. Fondly remembered by his brother and sisters and their families. A long time member of the Kingston Real Estate Association and Outdoor Writers of Eastern Ontario. At Leo's request, there will be no visitation or service. A graveside service will be held at St. Mary's cemetery on Saturday April 10, 2010 at 10:30am. Donations in memory of Leo may be made to the UHKF - Neonatal Unit.

passed away peacefully at Westgate Lodge, Belleville on Saturday March 13, 2010 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late William Goyer. Beloved daughter of the late Eileen Longhurst. Loving mother of Paul (Susan) of Belleville, Carolyn London (Steve) of Kelowna B.C. and Susan Marvin (Rob) of Belleville. Predeceased by her son Frank and great grandson Cole. Peacefully in her sleep at St. Mary's of the Lake hospital Erin went home to be with the Lord on Thursday March the 20th 2008 in her 32nd year. Cherished daughter of Robert and Alice Pickell and beloved sister of Jennifer and her husband Les McDonald and Brandon and his wife Melissa Pickell. Proud Aunt of Gracy-Eryn Pickell. Loving Granddaughter of Robert C and Margaret Pickell from Trenton and the late Hans and Marie Draaistra. Lovingly remembered by many aunts and uncles and cousins and will be fondly and lovingly remembered by many friends.
Friends will be received at the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home-Township Chapel, 435 Davis Drive, Kingston (Taylor Kidd & Centennial Drive), on Tuesday March 25 between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Westside Fellowship Christian Reformed Church (1021 Woodbine Road) on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Pastor Ed Visser officiating. On March 21, 2008, surrounded by friends and family, Jerry passed away at Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie, after a short but vigorous fight against esophageal cancer. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 49 years Patricia (nee Frauce); daughters Chris (Chris), and Diane (Jerry); grand-daughters Maria and Melissa; brothers Fred, Conrad and the late Peter, as well as his many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the staff at Douglas Memorial who helped to ease his way. Jerry met his end as he lived his life--always right. Visitation to celebrate his life will take place at the SCOTT FUNERAL HOME "Brampton Chapel," 289 Main St. N., Brampton (905-451-1100) on Sunday from 7 - 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 1 p.m. Cremation. passed away peacefully at Shalom Village in Hamilton in his eighty--eighth year, on March 10, 2010. Born on June 1, 1922 in BillQuay England. John arrived in Montreal, Canada in 1948 after serving from 1938- 1946 in the Royal Engineers, British Army. He was stationed in North Africa during WWII. He retired from Sunlife,was past Master of Elgin Lodge No.7 and was a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite. He moved to Victoria B.C. in 1990, returning east to Hamilton in 2008. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 55 years, Eleanor Andison. Survived by his daughters Janet Miron (Jean-Pierre, predeceased) and Diane, sister-in-law Evelyn Andison and extended family in Canada, California, England and Australia. Special thanks to everyone at Shalom Village for their compassionate care of John. As per Johns wishes, cremation has taken place with interment to follow at Mount Royal cemetery , Montreal. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
