Rodgers, Jacqueline of Port Stanley, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, February 17th, 2016, at the L.H.S.C. at the age of 65. Dearly loved wife of Stanley Wayne Rodgers and much loved mother of Melissa Bainbridge, Sandra Latour (Phil) and Carrie Bubel (Jason). Cherished grandmother of Nolan, Joel, Blake, Reese, Linkin, Devon and Sophia. Predeceased by a brother Paul Camuso. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Jackie was born in Hamilton on October 22, 1950, the daughter of he late John Henry and BerniceĀ Shubrook. She worked at Eaton/Yale.

Pratt, Donald George “Bud”
Pratt, Donald George “Bud” of St. Thomas and formerly of Port Bruce passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Friday, July 10th, 2015, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Ina Louise Pratt and the Late Shirley Pratt. Loved father of Randy (Shannon) Pratt and father-in-law of Margaret Hunter-Pratt all of St. Thomas. Loved grandfather of Jennie, Michelle, Michael and Amanda and great-grandfather of Kelly, Eric, James, Ben, Jacob and Brianna. Predeceased by his children Richard Pratt and Robert Pratt and by his brothers Howard “Babe” Pratt and Ernest “Bus” Pratt. Donald was born in St. Thomas on July 8th, 1927, son of the late Fred and Dorothy Pratt. He served during WWII and was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #41. Donald was retired from Conrail.

Witherow, Roy Alan
Witherow, Roy Alan of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, February 24th, 2016, in his 69th year. Beloved partner and best friend of Sylvia Russell. Dearly loved son of Lorraine Armstrong-Witherow and the late Earl Witherow. Loved father of Tammy Tolman and cherished grandpa of Holden Tolman. Dear brother or Terry Witherow and step-brother of James Armstrong, Dale Zang and Shawn Armstrong. Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his grandson Taylor James Tolman. Roy was born in St. Thomas on April 12th, 1947. He retired from Imperial Tobacco, Aylmer after 36 years and enjoyed working part time in security.

Laverty, Shannon Mary of St. Thomas, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 6th, 2016, at the L.H.S.C. (University Campus), at the age of 20. Dearly loved daughter of Steven and Christine (Ratelle) Laverty. Loved sister of Carley (Garrett) and Meghan. Dear granddaughter of Fernande Ratelle, Bob Carroll (Debi) and May Laverty (late Frank). Loved niece of Nicole Garagozza (Rich) and their children Joey and Eva, Steven Carroll (Sharon) and their children Claire, Jake and Justin, Julie Reilly (Sean) and their children Gemma and Daniel. Sadly missed by a much extended family in Canada, United States and Scotland. Shannon was born in St. Thomas on April 4th, 1996. She was attending Kings College in London. Shannon lived her 20 years to the fullest. She was an avid traveler and was always looking for her next adventure. She had a heart for children and animals. Shannon will be remembered for her constant smile, her love for life and her sense of humour. To know her was to love her.

Beloved wife of Harlan Nephin and dearly loved mother of Harlan (Amy), Jeff (Tammy), Jennifer Barnhardt (Tim), Dan (Chrissie) and Katie Serrato (Jon). Cherished grandma of Harlan, Dylan, Dustin, Alicia, Jessica, Brett, Megan, Mariah, Sharissa, Connor, Callee, Caitlynn, Madison and Tristan. Dear sister of Ted Campbell (Kathy), Brenda Chetcuti, Barry Campbell, Susan Bisson (Frank) and Colin Campbell. Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Deborah was born in St. Thomas on December 27th, 1956, daughter of Ted Campbell Sr. and Lena (Cook) Campbell. She worked at Caressant Care Nursing Home. Deborah was a member of St. Anne’s Parish, St. Thomas.

(Baxter) McLachlan and loved father of James “Jim” McLachlan (Lee) of Scotland, Edward McLachlan (Lacey) of Columbus, Ohio. Dear brother of Agnes Nicoll, Joan Hosie (Bill), William McLachlan (Margaret), Margaret (Tom Waldron), Jessie McKenzie (Ian) and James Garvock. Loved grandfather of Jaime and Justine and great grandfather of Dexter and Jay. Dear brother-in-law of David and Joanne Baxter. Sadly missed by several aunts, uncle and nephews and nieces. Ed was born in Dundee, Scotland on March 18, `1941, the son of the late James McLachlan and Agnes (McLachlan) Garvock. He was the owner of E.&T Martial Arts, Founder of Global Martial Arts, Vice President Banto Warriors Canada , A.S.L. Signs Self Defense for the Deaf, He was a member of the IOOF Foresters) Oddfellows Lodge #310. Past J. Grand and Noble Grand and also District Deputy Grand Master of the District of Erie.

Edie, Bonnie Sharon (Peirson) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, March 1st, 2016, in her 71st year. Dearly loved mother of Tom and his wife Deb Edie of St. Thomas and Terri and her husband Dave Bueckert of Chatham. Cherished grandma of Taylor, Morgan, Jeremy and Jerred. Dear sister of Larry (Pat), Howard (Audrey), Late Betty (Late Harold), Late Dave (Helen), Charles (Late Shirley) (Carol), Doug (Pat), Chester (Betty), Raymond (Late Linda) (Jane), Dorothy (Kirk) and Violet (John). Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bonnie was born in Hamilton on February 23rd, 1946, daughter of the late George and Violet (Corlis) Peirson. She worked as machine operator at Eaton Yale and as a supervisor at Med-Tech in London. Bonnie was also very active with the Tennant Association at 294 Talbot.
