March 10, 1928 - March 19, 2002

Gone to join son Derek Anders, deceased. Leaves Georgina and son Randy, mother Siri and Susan and Grandchildren Adair and family, Amber and family, and Anders; also brother Sibert and Berta and nieces and nephews in Sweden.

Arrangements entrusted to Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home, Robinson Chapel, 905-522-2496.

April 13, 1932 - April 9, 2002

(Longtime employee of Westinghouse. His life time love was his time as a Jockey in Britain.) Peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and family at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday April 9, 2002. Henry John "Harry" George of Hamilton in his 70th year. Beloved husband, soulmate and lover of Violet May (Tytler, Smith). Loving and devoted father of Susan of Hamilton, Peta & her husband Joe of Calgary, Linda Brogly & her husband Matt of Edmonton, Douglas Tytler & his wife Sera and Catherine Tirone all of Hamilton and Darren & his wife Tracy of London. Loving granddad of 11 grandchildren. Much loved brother of Brian George & his wife Pat of Sutton Coldfield, England and brother-in-law of Reg Smith & his wife Gwen of Cayuga, the late Trevor Smith & his wife Anne of Butler, P.A. and Stan Webb & his wife Shelia of Ashford Hill, Thatcham, England. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. George is at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home "ROBINSON CHAPEL" (King Street East at Wellington) Hamilton 905-522-2496 where the family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service from the Chapel on John's 70th birthday, Saturday April 13, 2002 at 10 o'clock am. Cremation with a family interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens at a later date. If so desired, remembrances to the Jockey's Benevolent Fund at Woodbine Racetrack or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Stanley Douglas Golding
March 24, 1912 - April 16, 2002

(Founder and owner of Golding Business Machines Ltd. and Automatic Dictating Machine Company, Kitchener & Hamilton, Member of the Hamilton Golf and Country Club for over 50 years, Former Frontiersman in Kitchener and Hamilton and Member of St. Giles United Church)

Peacefully at the Henderson General Hospital with his loving wife of over 63 years by his side. Stanley Douglas Golding of Hamilton in his 91st year. Dearly beloved and devoted husband of Lela Golding (Nee: MacMillan) Loving and admired father of Elizabeth & her husband Donald Wharton of Waterloo and Douglas & his wife Betty Golding of St. Thomas. Dear grandpa of Alexander Wharton of Waterloo and Melissa Maloney of London. Dear brother of Raymond & his wife Gloria Golding of California. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Lucille Irene Sharpe (Webb)
April 1, 1903 - May 9, 2002

Peacefully, at Grace Villa Nursing Home, on May 9, 2002 at the age of 99. Lucille was a long time member of West Mount Baptist Church, and former member of King Street Baptist Church. Beloved wife of the late Bert Sharpe and the late Bruce Webb. Loving mother of June and son-in-law Joe, and Paul and daughter-in-law Nancy. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren J.F. Finn, Kevin Finn, Michelle Finn-Ramirez, Casey Finn, Jamie Finn, Aaron Webb, Danielle Webb and Leigh-Anne Webb, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Sharpe is at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home - ROBINSON CHAPEL (905) 522-2496, where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Monday at Harmony Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens to follow.

McCOMBS, Vera Annie (Coles) - Peacefully, at her residence on Wednesday May 14, 2002. Vera Annie McCombs loving wife of Thomas. Beloved mother of Charlene Schoenholz (Ernie), Karen McCombs and David McCombs. Will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Thomas, Stephen and Jessica Schoenholz. Also remembered by her brothers Clifford Coles (Vivian) and Gordon Coles (Frances), and many other family members and friends. Predeceased by her parents, her brother Sterling Coles and two sons Thomas and Clifford. Special mention to Debbie and Eva. Special thank you to Kitty and Barb Gavin. Friends will be received at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home, ROBINSON CHAPEL (King Street East at Wellington) on Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. Interment to take place in Prince Edward Island.

Grandmother to Michael, Robert, Lauren, Karlie, Brooke and Aaron. Sister to Allan & Rosemary (Ron). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary Vasey
March 11, 1915 - December 2, 2001

Vasey, Mary Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital with her children by her side on Sunday, December 2, 2001 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her husband Charlie (1983), her sister Betty and brothers, Tom and Bob. Much loved Mum to Ross (Carolle) and Marion (Joseph). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Patrick (Diana), Laurie, Kristine and Carrie. Also leaves Great grandchildren Alexander and his brother Matthew. Dearest sister of Nancy, Margaret and Helen. At Mary's request a private family service is being held. In kindness, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.

Thomas Elmer Smith
February 17, 1920 - February 8, 2001

passed away of cancer at Henderson- Extendicare on February 8, 2001.

Tom is survived by two nephews; Lloyd Muir of Westville, Ronald Muir of Dartmouth, Gerald Muir of Edmonton and niece Phyllis Meadows of Homeville, Nova Scotia.

Thomas was born on February 17, 1920 in Plymouth, Nova Scotia and served overseas in World War II. He is the son of Joseph and Emily Smith of Plymouth Park, Pictou County, Nova Scotia. Tom worked for many years at the Dare Company in Hamilton.

Predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Smith (1978) of New Glascow, Nova Scotia .

The family will receive friends at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home "ROBINSON CHAPEL" (905)-522-2496 (King Street East at Wellington) on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service from the Robinson Chapel on Saturday February 10, 2001 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at a later date.

Jack Hammill Bradt
September 30, 1919 - February 11, 2001

Peacefully on February 11, 2001, Jack reunited with his beloved wife, Joyce Jenevieve, who passed away February 5th, 2000.

Loving father of Jacqueline Bradt and Daryl Bradt (Sheila). Proud pop of Corey Andrew Bradt. Also survived by mother-in-law Ann Miller- Hick, brother-in-law Larry Miller (Bonnie), nieces Cheryl Miller and Gail MacLellan (Peter).

Predeceased by granddaughter Genny Maybrey and his parents Reata and Earnest Bradt.

Jack was a familiar figure in the Durand Park area and will be remembered as always having a kind word for everyone he met on the street.

At Jack s request, there will be no Funeral Service. Cremation has taken place.

The family wished to express their eternal gratitude to Margaret Coulter and the wonderful staff at Atrium Villa for their compassionate care of Jack in his final weeks.

March 31, 1942 - February 10, 2001

Suddenly at the McMaster University Medical Centre on February 10, 2001 in her 59th year.

Beloved wife of Jack Lafave. Loving mother of John Lafave (Brenda) and Mark Lafave. Dear grandmother of Joseph and Melissa. Dear sister to Sonny and Shirley Hammer and George and Patti Reis.

She will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends.
