Age 67 years. A Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Friday June 24th 2005. Beloved husband of Karen Cockerham. Dear father of Gladys (T.J.), Vivi and her husband Bob Williams, James and his wife Anne. Cherished Ompa of Vivi Karyn, Crystal, Marie, Justin, Lee, Joel. Loving brother of Betty Reid, and the late Jerry Reid., Frank and his wife Maddie, Survived by his brother-in-law George Evans and predeceasded by a sister Shirley Evans. A Memorial Service will be held at HAMPTON UNITED CHURCH 3 pm Monday June 27, 2005 Cremation. Arrangements entrusted to THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville. Memorial donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation.

MAGEE, James Brian 'Jim'
Peacefully, on June 24, 2005. Beloved husband of Wendie. Dear father of David, Stephen and Karyn, and Craig, and grandfather of Blake, Cameron and Brian. Loving brother of Allan and his wife Shirley. A service will be held at ALL SAINTS' ANGLICAN CHURCH, 300 Dundas St. W., Whitby, on Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at 10:30 a.m., with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment of cremated remains will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Norway, Toronto. Donations in memory of Jim to the Colo- rectal Cancer Society can be made through McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558).

Dear brother of Kevin Philip of Cold Lake, Alberta, Greg Philip of Courtice, Jeff Philip of Oshawa, Brad Graham of Little Britain, and Christopher Graham of Whitby. REID, Annie Beatrice
Passed away peacefully on June 24th, 2005 in Toronto. Beloved sister of Levi (Freda) Reid, Allan Reid and the late Norm Reid. Loving aunt of Wayne (Joanne), Bruce (Wilma) and Brenda (Bill). Annie will be fondly remembered by her great-nieces Michelle and Christina Reid, and her family and friends. RITCHIE, Loretta Lillian "Lorrie"
Age 75 years. Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Friday June 24th, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Bill Ritchie. Loving mother of Linda & her husband Ben Spoelstra, Bill & his wife Arlene of Olds, Alberta, Joe & his wife Joanne and David & his wife Janice. Cherished Nana of Laura & Heather Spoelstra; Alysen & Rheanne Ritchie; Matthew & Emily Ritchie and Harmonie, Tamarah, Kayne & Cooper Ritchie. Loving great-grandmother of Amber-Hope, Avery, Austin and Hayden. Sister of Beverly & Tony Negila, Doug & Claudette Harper and Art & Joan Harper. Sister-in-law of Ted & Lorraine Ritchie and Alan & Nancy Ritchie. Visitation will take place at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville from 6-8 pm Monday June 27th, 2005. Funeral Service will be held in our Chapel 11 am Tuesday June 28th. Interment in Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to The Hospital for Sick Children.

BUCK, Eunice Maxwell
Eunice Maxwell Buck, 94, died on June 23, 2005 in Sarasota. She was born in Flushing, N. Y. on May 30, 1911, the daughter of Daniel and Lucy Robinson. She moved to Canada as a teenager and lived here until she returned to the United States as a winter resident in 1985. She was a graduate of the University of Toronto and taught for many years in the Toronto secondary schools before and after her marriage to Hart Buck. Her husband preceded her in death in April 1991. She was an accomplished musician and maintained her interest in music throughout her life. She is survived by a brother-in-law, a sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews by marriage. A graveside service will be held on Friday July 15th at 11:30 a.m. at Oshawa Union Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME.

CRYDERMAN, Linda Joan (nee: Stainton)
Peacefully with her daughters by her side at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Thursday, June 23, 2005 in her 64th year. Linda, loved daughter of the late Leonard and his wife Margaret Stainton. Loving mother of Joann and her husband David Willis, Lori and her husband Rob Landon and Lisa and her husband Greg Shewan. Loved grandmother of Jeremy, Eric, Cassandra and Michelle. Dear sister of David Stainton and his wife Birte, Gail and her late husband Bob Simpson and the late Doris Stainton. Linda will be missed by her nieces, nephews and many friends. Donations in Linda's memory to the Oshawa General Hospital Foundation (Regional Cancer Center) would be appreciated.

Loved father of Steven and his wife Kathy, Mary Jane and her friend Bruce and the late Don. Loving grandfather of Tim, Stephanie, Sarah, Steven Jr., Rachel, David, Adam and great-grandfather of Connor, Lauren, Olivia and Carter. REES, Charles
Aged 85 years. Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Thursday June 23rd 2005. Beloved husband of the late Mavis Rees. Dear father of Ken & his wife Alanna, Lorraine & her husband Dave Hanna, Carolyn Rees and Valerie White. Predeceased by his son Don Rees & by his daughters Evelyn & Elaine. He will be sadly missed by 19 grandchildren & 15 great-grandchilren. A special thank-you to Abe from the whole family, for all your love & care. Visitation will take place at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville, 7-9 pm Sunday June 26th 2005. Funeral Service will be held in our Chapel at 11 am Monday June 27th. EILBECK, Jack
After a long, happy, and productive life, it is with sad hearts we say goodbye to Jack, on Wednesday, June 22, 2005, in his 82nd year. He was a loving husband and best friend to his wife Pat for over 60 years. He loved and admired his three daughters, Lynda MacGregor (David), Anne McFadden, and Susie Plumpton (Dan). He was a mentor to his grandchildren Erin, Megan, and Rob, and enjoyed wonderful times with them. Jack graduated from the University of Toronto in Physical and Health Education and entered the recreation world in Brantford and Leaside as Recreation Director. He was the Ontario representative for the Community Programs Branch. He joined the faculty of Humber College, where he taught Recreation Leadership before becoming department chair. He was the founding president of the Leaside Curling Club. Upon retiring, he returned to his beloved Newcastle and became active in the Clarington Older Adults Association, the Newcastle/Bond Head Ratepayers Association, and the Newcastle Village and District Historical Society. The family will receive their friends at the NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S. (just north of 401 at the lights) on Friday, June 24, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, June 25, at 1:00 p.m., followed by a gathering at the family home. Cremation, with interment at Bond Head Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, a donation in memory of Jack to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Clarington Community Care would be appreciated by his family.

McPEAKE, Vera Linda
Suddenly at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday June 22nd, 2005. Beloved wife of William Frederick McPeake. Dear mother of Dawn McPeake and the late Darlene Reid. Funeral Service will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Saturday June 25th at 2 pm with visitation one hour prior to service. EDWARDS, Jean Naomi
Peacefully, with dear friend Glen Wraith by her side, at Strathaven Lifecare Centre, Bowmanville, on Tuesday, June 21, 2005, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Edwards. Survived by her brother Bob and his wife Dorothy Trenchard of Newfoundland. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Frances, Charles, Ruth, Gordon and Evelyn. Will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews throughout Canada and the U.S.A.
