PRYDE, Catherine (Kay) Mary
Died peacefully on January 14, 2003 at Sunnycrest Nursing Home, Whitby, at age 90. Loving wife of Thomas Raymond Pryde, predeceased 1968. Dear mother of Patricia of Seeley's Bay, Tom Pryde (Pauline) of Whitby, Jim Pryde (Bev) of Hamilton, and David Pryde (Pat) of Oshawa. Dear grandma of seven and great grandma of one. Special thanks to the 3rd floor nursing staff for their wonderful caring support. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, with Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Parish, Whitby on Thursday, January 16, 2003 at 11 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8 p.m. Visitation Wednesday 7-9 p.m.

HARMER-FLATEAU, Sally
Suddenly in Banning, California, on December 19, 2002 Sally Harmer-Flateau in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Flateau. Dear mother of John Harmer and Judy of Port Hope, David Harmer of Millbrook, Ernest Harmer of Bowmanville, Beth and Dean Smiley of Millbrook and Ellen Harmer and Ken Wiseman of Bailieboro. Grandmother of Ann Carr of Bailieboro and Stephen Harmer of Toronto. Great-grandmother of Madison Harmer and Evan Carr. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 15th, 2003 at 11 a.m. at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to The Lung Association or the Cancer Society.

BAKER, Norman Gifford
(Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Bowmanville Branch 178, Camp X Historical Society, Royal Canadian Corps of Signals and Hamilton Signals Association).
Suddenly, after a short illness at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, January 13th, 2003 age 81 years. Beloved husband of Mary Phyllis (nee Conway). Predeceased by his parents Gifford Baker & Gertrude Duggan. Brother of Dorothy Gertrude Hopkinson. Survived by his son Gary & his wife Maureen, grandchildren Ivan, Ryan and Melissa & her husband Petar Djurickovich, and 5 great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law to Kathleen Tittley & her husband Emmanuel; Helen Conway-Page; Brian & Jacqueline Conway; Allison Conway-Weldon; Donald & Grace Conway; Michael & Micheline Conway and Anne Cadieux & her husband Ed. Norm will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will take place at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 2-4 & 7-9 pm Friday, January 17th. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 18th at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Bowmanville. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society, Camp X Historical Society or a Charity of your choice. A Legion Service will be held at 6:45 pm Friday, followed by Parish Prayers at 8 pm.

Suddenly, at the Ajax and Pickering Health Centre, on Monday, January 13, 2003, in his 89th year. Earle Carmody, loving husband for over 62 years of Lily (nee Brennan). Loving father of Lynne Mercer, and Judy and Dave Turnbull. Grandpa to Lisa, Heather, David and Kelly. Proud great grandfather of Sydney and Sara. Dear brother of Beryle, and the late Sybil and Weston. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday, January 16, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Interment - Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens. Suddenly on Monday, January 13, 2003, while on a cruise. Wilfred in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Joan Kelly. Loving father of Kelly Ann and her husband Pat Hayes, and Kathleen and her husband Trevor McCorquodale. Dear Poppa of Matthew, Michael and Sarah. Special brother of Wilfred Kelly, Marguerite and John Milroy, Maurice and Jeannine Kelly, and Goldie and Frank Sonser. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. KEAN, Mary Violet
Beloved and faithful friend for 77 years to the family of the Late Rev. S.J. Hillier of Brooklin, died on January 13th, 2003 in her 95th year.
