Peacefully, after a fall and complications, on Monday, August 24, 2009 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 91. Bill Loates of Port Perry, beloved husband of Kathleen (nee McClean) for 63 years. Loving father of Patricia and her husband Gordon Pogue of Scugog Island, and William Loates Jr. and his wife Sharon of Oshawa. Loved grandfather of Ryan Pogue (Michelle), Lori Bolan (Jon), Kimberly Brown (Scott), Tamara Howarth (Dave), Kristopher and Cody Loates, and great-grandfather of Matthew and Joshua Bolan, John and Brent Pogue, and Teanna and Mason Howarth. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Ada ìBeaî Loates. Suddenly at his home on Monday, August 24, 2009 in his 68th year. Loving brother of Bert (Elaine), Ronald (late Janet), and Jean Paul (Terry) Mousseau. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Albertine and Wellington; his sisters Madeline Sauriol (late Raymond), Marjorie Bereznitsky, Joanne and Carol Mousseau: his brothers Erven and Brian. Cremation. With strength and courage George passed away on August 24th, 2009 at Peterborough Health Centre with his loving family at his side at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Shirley Oliver (nee Brown) for 56 years. Loving father of Linda (Doug Burns), Kim Branigan (Tracy, predeceased), Dan Oliver (Cindy), Cindy Oliver (Bruce Jordan) and Rob Oliver. Lovingly remembered by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents George and Margaret Oliver (McClelland) and sister Helen Norton (Oliver). George was a G.M. Employee for 42 years, Naval Veterans Club Member for 47 years and Past Member of the Canadian Corps. Passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Nursing Home on Monday, August 24, 2009, in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband George of 53 years. Loving mother of Gary (Jackie), Diane (Peter) Hoondert, Carolyn (Tim) McMahon and Janice. Proud grandmother to Adam and Lindsay Walker, Tara and Dale Dolan, Kyle and Anna Hoondert, Michael and Sean McMahon, Matthew Lichtfuss and Kelly and Craig Easton. Great- grandmother to Johnathan and Kieran Dolan and Ella and Finlay Hoondert. She is survived by her sister Rita Schmalz and brother James (Jean) Vickers. She was predeceased by her brothers Joseph (Buddy) Vickers and John Vickers. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Alma and George were also loving foster parents for many years in the Toronto area. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009 at St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church, 1148 Finch Avenue, Pickering at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Whitby. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Anne is survived by her husband Sidney Bell, her parents Isabell and Leonard Campbell, her children Tammy-Lynne and James (Christina), her grandsons Damian, Isaiah, Dontae and step-grandson Jacob. Her twin sister Ellen (Dave) sisters Marg (Pat), Heather (Barry), Valerie(Jack) and Raylene (Gary), brothers Lenny Jr.(Jen), Robert (Doreen) and Frank (Mary) all residing in Ontario. Passed away peacefully at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, Uxbridge, Ontario, on Sunday, August 23rd, 2009 at age 81 years. Margaret and her late husband Rex Vernon Bibb arrived in Canada from Birmingham, England on the Queen Elizabeth II in 1955. They made their home in Pickering Village, Ashburn and the surrounding area. Before immigrating Margaret managed a butcher shop in England and in Canada became a nursing assistant/manager at the Altamont Nursing Home in Pickering. Margaret is survived by her siblings Desmond (Ann); Ray; Kathleen (Alan); Sheila (Terry) and May, predeceased by her siblings Ralph, Charlie and Gerald. 'Mom' to Carol Shearing, Janet (Ron) Lusted, David (Carol), and Gregory (Valerie). 'Nanny' to Sue (Mike); Jake (Janine); Courtney (Darryll); Luke (Diane); Meghan (Scott); Lisa (Derrick); Stewart (Sara); David (Erin); Mark (Sharon); Elizabeth (Chad) and Bryan. Great 'Gram' to Ryan, Owen, Clayton, Briana, Alexis, River, Braden, Jace, Trent, Mikyla, Marley, Freya, Brooke and Gracie.
