BADOUR, Clinton Wilfred 'Ken'
It is with sadness that the family of Clinton Badour announces his peaceful passing at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at age 88. Ken Badour of Port Perry beloved husband of the late Emily (nee Myles). Loving father of Marlene and her husband the late Carl Crass of Columbus, Elizabeth and her husband Walter Stevens of Guelph, and special father of Beverly (Jodie) deceased 1971. Adored grandfather of Bradley and his wife Lesley of Mississauga, Michael of Little Britain, Jennifer and her husband Daniel of St. Catherine's, Aaron of Toronto. Gregory and his wife Keltie of Olds, Alberta and Sarah and her husband Bradley of Whitby. Predeceased by his sisters Eleanor, Elizabeth, Sophia, Amelia, Kathleen and his brothers Edward, William, John, and Hillard. Will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, and many friends and neighbours from both Port Perry and the Court of Brooklin. Ken moved from the Perth area as a young man to Oshawa where he met his loving wife Emily of 65 years. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces and upon his discharge moved to Port Perry in 1947. He worked for Duplate (PPG) in Oshawa and retired from his position of Production Superintendent. In addition, along with Emily he managed an Egg Production and Farming business for many years. In his retirement he loved the challenges of raising horses and Charolais cattle up to 2004. He took great pride in his large vegetable garden and grew potatoes 'second to none'. He had a passion for work but took time out especially for dancing with his beloved Emily and enjoyed the many trips and vacations they took together. Ken's love and pride for his family is unsurpassed and will remain forever in the hearts of his family. Friends may call at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME 'McDermott-Panabaker Chapel', 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, February 23rd from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. A Service to celebrate the life of Ken Badour will be held in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. Private interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre, or the Port Perry United Church Memorial Fund.

NEAL, Marcia Helen (nee Williams)
October 23, 1947 - February 21, 2007
Peacefully at home after a long and courageous struggle with cancer. To the very end, she showed grace, dignity and humor and always a loving concern for friends and family. Both practical and a free spirit, Marci loved art -she was a graduate of the Ontario College of Art, her garden and being with friends and family. She was predeceased by her husband and soulmate Robert Neal; her father, Gardner Stearns Williams; her loving grandparents, Kathryn and Earl Davidson and Helen and Harold ("Cop") Coppins and her in-laws, Robert and Glad Neal. Her spirit, humour and understanding will be sadly missed by her mother Mary Kathryn Williams, her sister Katherine Kane, her brothers, David Williams (Gail) and Robert Williams (Beth). Marci will be missed by her nephews Aaron Williams (Jennifer), Gavin Williams (Charity) and Tyler Eric Williams and her niece, Marissa Williams. Marci will be especially missed by her many friends and most particularly, her best friend and caregiver in her long illness, Mary Slining. A memorial and celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 24th, 2007 at the McLaughlin Art Gallery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciated donations directed in Marcia's name to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Durham Region Cancer Centre.

Passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2007. Charlotte beloved wife of the late Alfred. Funeral service Friday, February 23, 2007 at 11 a.m. from Grace Lutheran Church, 540 Cromwell Ave., Oshawa. Visitation 1 hour prior to service at church.

WALMSLEY, Gayle
Peacefully at her home in Wilmot Creek, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, February 21, 2007, in her 62nd year. Loving wife for 43 years and best friend of William (Bill). Dear mother of Tedine and her husband Art Henry of Oshawa and William (Bill) Walmsley of Toronto. Devoted grandmother to Brad, Kevin and Jennifer. Dear sister of Yvonne Conway of Oshawa. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law. Gayle was especially devoted to her four- legged friends, George, Blue and K.C. A funeral service will be held at the NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. St. (just north of 401 at the lights on Saturday, February 24, at 2:00 p.m., with visiting from 12:00 noon until time of service. Donations to the Bowmanville Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Durham Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by her family.

GUAY, Judith Ann (HARPER)
It is with deep sadness that the family of Judy announce her passing on February 20th, 2007 at the age of 50, after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be sadly missed by her husband Jacques Guay and children Jeremy and Jenny, and their spouses Alesia and AJ. Judy is survived by her parents, siblings and many nieces and nephews. Judy spent her life caring about others, especially her family and friends. We were fortunate to have been loved by her and to learn how to care for others by her example. A celebration of her life will be held for family and friends at Paroisse Assomption Notre Dame, 384 Hillside Ave, in Oshawa, on Sunday, February 25th from 1-3pm. Memorial donations may be made to Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

GIBSON, Kathleen Mary (nee Boyle)
It is with sadness that the family announce the peaceful passing of Kay Gibson on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 in her 100th year. Predeceased by her husband of 65 years, William (Bill) Gibson. Loving mother of Linda Peacock (Gene) of Whitby, and Joy Garland of Trenton. Dear grandmother of Dr. Matthew Peacock (Joanne) of Brooklin, Melissa Peacock of Whitby, Beverly Brown (Brian) of Cannington, Valerie VanRoesell (Rob) of London, Bill Black of Trenton. Loving 'Nan' to Meredith, Samantha, Danny, Ryan, Carlie, and dear 'Nanny Kay' to Jake and Emily. Kay will be missed by all her friends especially Jodi Jakovac and Eve Avent. The family will receive friends at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410) from 11 am to 12 noon Saturday. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 12 noon. Cremation has taken place, entombment will take place at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens in the spring. In memoriam, donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated. The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to the nurses and staff on Upper K Wing at Fairview Lodge.

HALPENNY, Victoria
Peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 in her 67th year. Loving mother of Dave Halpenny, and Donna and her husband James Moore. She will be fondly remembered by Glen who has been at her side these past few months during her illness, providing friendship and support. The family will receive friends at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410) from 7 to 9pm Friday. Service in the Chapel on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 2pm with cremation to follow. Entombment at GROVESIDE CEMETERY, at a later date. In memoriam, donations may be made to the Cancer Society.

NEILSON, Keld
Suddenly on February 20th, 2007. Keld was pre-deceased by his parents Helge and Anna and his sister Elizabeth. He is survived and sadly missed by his sisters Inge, Elsie and Edith. Keld will also be remembered by his nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens on Thursday, February 22nd at 2:00 P.M. Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234). Memorial donations to Charity of choice would be appreciated.

ZILAHY, Steve
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 20th, 2007 at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa in his 71st year. Dearly beloved husband of Margaret. Loving father of Edward and his wife Denise and Linda Holder and her husband Leonard. Cherished grandpa of Miranda and Lenny. Sadly missed by the family dog, Noodles. FLORENCE Marie Waude
Passed away at Bay Ridges Long Term Care Facility Pickering on Monday, February 19th, 2007 in her 97th year. Dearly loved mother of Naida and her husband Jack Cormack of Brooklin. Grandmother of Lynda Armstrong of Oshawa, David of Peterborough, Corrine Cook (Duane) of Kendal, ON; Teresa Tummonds (Larry) of Ocala, Florida; and Paul (Jane) of Orono. Great-grandmother of Christopher, Zachary, Nicholas and Matthew. Survived by her sister Elsie Cowle of Don Mills, as well as nieces and nephews. Resting at St. Thomas' Anglican Church, Brooklin where family will receive friends from 12:00 noon Saturday, February 24th, until time of service to follow in the church Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow with interment later at St. Paul's Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN, 905-655-3662.
