O’ROURKE, Margaret Anne (Marge)
The Duck Lady
Entered into rest at the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital on Tuesday, December 18th, 2001, the former Margaret Arsenault of Montreal, age 77 years. Beloved wife of the late John O’Rourke. Marge is survived by a brother Leandre Arsenault (Lena) and two sisters Ursula Charron (Henri) and Zilica Lamothe all of Cochrane, Ont. Also survived by a special niece Jean Fox who has taken care of her aunt since 1974, a great-niece Jeanne Fox Dibble and great-great-niece TeJeanne (T.J.) Fox-Dibble, a good friend Lorie Perron-Henry, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. O’Rourke was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters, Maxime, Benoit, Elenore and her twin Marie in infancy.
Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Thursday, December 20th from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, December 21st at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. In memoriams to the Humane Society or the Cataraqui Conservation Authority Mac Johnson Swan Fund will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

STONE, Korleen Shirley
Peacefully at St. Vincent de Paul Hospital on Thursday, December 19th, 2001 surrounded by her family, the former Korleen Shirley Landon age 82 years. Daughter of the late Frederick and Florence Landon (McLean) Beloved wife of the late Eric William Stone. Dearly loved mother of Ronald of Gloucester and Florence (Sis) Allan of Brockville. Cherished grandmother of Robin and Lisa Allan and Tyler and Karrie Allan all of Brockville. Devoted great-grandmother of Eric, Erin, Shawn, Dylan, Ryan, Kody and Colby. Sister of Ken Landon and his wife Nellie. Sister-in-law of Geraldine Crippen (Ross), Gwen Howley, Alton Stone (Marion) and Lillian Stone. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Special friend of Judy Hadley and Terry McIntosh.
Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, December 22nd at 1:30 p.m. Interment Read's Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. George's Anglican Church South Augusta or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

ERGLIS, Velta (Vinklers)
On November 1st, 2001 in Scarborough in her 82nd year. Predeceased by husbands John Erglis and Olgerts Vinklers, son Peter Erglis and brother Edmunds Rudens. Survived by children John Vinklers, Olgerts Vinklers and Laima Cowburn, seven grandchildren, two great-grandsons, sister Aina Dones, brother Laimonis Rudens, nieces and nephews in Canada and Latvia.

At the Wellington House Nursing Home, Prescott on Sunday, November 4, 2001 in his 68th year, Michael Joyce. Father of Sandra Joyce (Brent Coville) and Michael Joyce all of Prescott. Former husband of Marion Joyce of Prescott. Brother of Art Joyce (Mary) of Lyn, Margie Barber (Wayne Francis) of Kemptville and Rose (Mrs. Rene Villeneuve) of Orillia. Predeceased by a brother Lornie Joyce. Also survived by a sister-in-law Harriett Joyce of Prescott and several nieces and nephews.

Dear sister of Jane Montroy (Kenneth) of Lisbon, N.Y., Ann White of Waddington, N.Y., Sheila Ormsby (Robert) of Orlando, FL., Susan Green (Theron) of Morristown, N.Y., Carol Vielhauer (Adrian), Linda Fortin, all of Ogdensburg, N.Y., Bonnie Moro (Louis) of Syracuse, N.Y., George Albert Joanette (Cora) of Ogdensburg, N.Y., Raymond Joanette of Livonia, N.Y., Donald Joanette (Rosemary) and Tony Joanette all of Ogdensburg, N.Y. Daughter-in-law of Beulah White of Brockville, sister-in-law of Roger and Robert White, Gail Howe (Bruce), Pat Van Santen (Rudy), Colleen Drummond (John), Donna Pettem (Ralph), Karen Harper (Wayne) all of Brockville. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Joseph Albert Joanette and the former Ruth Mary LeBeau, a sister Mary LaRose, a brother-in-law Jerry LaRose and her father-in-law Sydney White.

Father of Linda Fischer and her friend Bob Kane of Ottawa, and Eric Ashby and his friend Bev Knudson of Brockville. Grandfather of Leslie Fischer and his wife Rachel and Sherry Fischer-Dancey and her husband Ian Dancey all of Ottawa. Brother of Wilfred Ashby and his wife Benita of Lords Mills. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Dear mother of John Fyckes, James Fyckes and his wife Cheryl, Tony Fyckes and his girlfriend Wanda Daye, David Connelly and Albert Connelly all of Brockville. Grandmother of Ann, Laurie and Zachary. Great-grandmother of Caleigh. Sister of Rev. Thomas Dixon and his wife Frances of Stittsville, Douglas Dixon and his wife Mary of Brockville, John Dixon of Walkerton, Burton Dixon and his wife Joan of Mallorytown, Lillian Clappison of Brockville, Roberta Peters and her husband Ernest of Jasper, June Moan and her husband Rodger of Red Deer, Alberta, and Mary Jobson and her husband Jerry of Tincap. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son and daughter Joseph and Theresa Fyckes, her parents Joseph and Theresa Dixon, three brothers Alex, Alfred and Charles and three sisters Pamela, Marjorie and Joan.

Loving mother of Lyle Ross (Debbie) of RR2, Addison and Marlene Poelstra of Brockville. Sadly missed by five grandchildren Derrick Poelstra (Zabrina) of Guelph, Jennifer and Christopher Poelstra both of Brockville, Branden and Leann Ross both of RR2, Addison. Also survived by four great-grandchildren Jessica, Kristie and Tenisha Poelstra of Guelph and Antonio Poelstra of Brockville. Dear sister of Bernice Pankhurst (Reg) of Brockville, Joyce Brown of Brockville, Ethel Leizert (David) of Athens, Carol Whittier (Gerald) of Maynard, Glen Hodge of Ottawa, Evelyn Mallett (Howard) of Prescott, Betty Johnston (Harold) of Tamworth, Marilyn Leizert (Charles) of Cardinal and Wayne Hodge (Junia) of Bowmanville. Predeceased by two brothers and one sister Roger Hodge of Prescott, Wallace Hodge of Brockville and Geraldine Livingstone of RR4, Athens. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Judson Funeral Home, Athens, on Friday, September 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, September 15th at 11 a.m. Interment Glen Elbe Cemetery at a later date. Suddenly at the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, July 5, 2001, Clarence Garrah. Beloved husband of Dorothy Powley. Much loved father of Michael, Patrick, Donald, Nancy Phillips, and Kathleen Martin (Rusty). Cherished grandfather of Peter Stidman, Jamie, Jeff, Aimee, Pam, and Jacqui Garrah, Lindsay and Gwen Phillips, and Jennifer and Thomas Martin. Dear brother of Francis, John and Louis Garrah, Agnes Cadue, and Margaret Cliffe. Predeceased by one sister Bernice McCann. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews
The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home, 63 Garden St., Gananoque, on Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. John the Evangelist Church on Tuesday, July 10th, at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal St. John’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the war amps of Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. The Knights of Columbus will gather at the funeral home Monday at 2:00 p.m. for prayers. Entered into rest peacefully, with family by her side at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Wednesday, July 4th, 2001, the former Dorothy Bell, aged 75 years. Beloved wife of the late Donald Harkness. Loving mother of Jim Harkness, Peggy Bush, Terry Prime and Doug Harkness. Cherished grandmother of Gord Bush, Donna Huffam (nee Bush), Jim and Holly Prime, Amy, Stacey and Rebecca Harkness. Great-grandmother of David, Alex, Samantha, Kristen, Quincy and Michael. Sister of Marjorie Foan.
