In Kelowna, B.C., on November 28, 1999, in his 44th year, having faced his illness with constant courage and patience. Dear son of Esther and the late Carl Frail, and husband of Gerri. Will be fondly remembered by his brother Owen, brother Gregory and his wife Loretta and their sons, Nicholas and Neil, sister Rosamond (Revell) and her husband Stuart, cousin Mike Frail and his wife Crystal, and his dear friends in Ontario. Sincere thanks to the caring people at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto and the Kelowna General Hospital, and to those who stayed with him, prayed with him, and comforted him in his final days. FRALICK, Lilian Alice (nee Spring)
Suddenly on Thursday, November 25, 1999, in Florida, in her 82nd year. Lilian, of Barrie, was the dearly loved wife of Gordon Fralick. She was predeceased by her beloved baby daughter, Gail. She is survived by her twin sons, Paul Fralick of Hamilton, his wife Jennifer Powell-Fralick and their children, Caitlin and Noah and by Dr. Richard Fralick of Toronto, his wife Nancy Figueroa and their sons, John, Michael and Jamie. She leaves her loving sisters, Gladys (Jim Hepburn), Betty (Doug Bedford) and Edna Mae (Murray Longson). She was predeceased by her brother Gordon. She will be remembered by Rev. Cannon John and Gwen Fralick and her many nieces and nephews. Lilian, who was born in Stroud, lived much of her married life in Leaside, before returning to Stroud in 1974. She graduated in 1942 from Women's College Hospital School of Nursing and had a dedicated nursing career at Women's College Hospital, the East York Health Unit, the Ontario Ministry of Health and the Simcoe County Health Unit. Funeral Services will be held at the McClelland & Slessor Funeral Home (Jennett Chapel), Barrie. Visitation will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, December 1st at 11:00 a.m. In memory of Lilian, donations may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children, Department of Neurology or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
