DERBY, Muriel (Sally) In Pembroke, Monday, June 19, 2000. Muriel Sally age 87. Widow of Elmer Derby. Loving mother of John (husband of Linda) of Pembroke. Cherished grandmother of Jamie and Jennifer. Dear sister of Raymond Sally of Ottawa. Predeceased by brother Austin Sally. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Ave. (west of Woodroffe) Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday in the Chapel at 10 a.m. followed by cremation. DUGRE, Rev. Maurice passed away on Friday June 16, 2000 at Hawkesbury, at the age of 87. Son of the late Ludger Dugre and of the late Louise Bourassa. He was born on February 20, 1913 at St-Boniface-de-Shawinigan, Quebec. Brother of Sister Bernadette and Sister Marie-Louise-Therese, Carmelites of Pennsylvania. Predeceased by four brothers Jean-Marie (Philomene Chiasson), Philippe (Irene Nault), Germain (Rita McLaughlin), Raymond and by two sisters Marie-Jeanne and Sister Georgette (Marie St-Joseph) Carmelite. Also survived by Mrs. Gabrielle Seguin, friend of the family. He was ordained priest on May 6, 1948 at the Sanctuary of Notre-Dame-du-Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Trois-Rivieres; assistant pastor at Holy Trinity, Rockland; studied in Rome in Holy Scriptures, Theology and Canon Law; professor of Holy Scriptures and Canon Law at the Major Seminary of Ottawa; professor of Holy Scriptures and Canon Law at the Capucin Scolasticate and the Faculty of the Arts at Ottawa University; chaplain of General Hospital in 1958; professor of Moral Theology at the Major Seminary of St-Boniface; professor of Theology and Philosophy at St-Boniface and assistant at St. Joseph Parish, Manitoba; Mariopolis 1961; assistant pastor at St-Anne Parish, Ottawa; notary, attorney and advocate at the Marriage Tribunal, pastor at St. Margaret Mary's Parish, Cumberland; pastor at St-Gregoire-de-Nazianze, Vankleek Hill; administrator of St-Leon-le-Grand, Treadwell; administrator of St-Bernardin. Retired in May 15, 1986, and continued as assistant at St. Jude's, Hawkesbury, and chaplain at Prescott-Russell Residence. Friends may call at Berthiaume Funeral Home, 1243 Lansdowne Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario (613) 632-8511 on Monday June 19th from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m., Tuesday June 20th from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. He will lay in state in St. Jude's Church, 372 Genevieve Street, Hawkesbury on Wednesday June 21st from 9:30 a.m. The Funeral will be held at St. Jude's Church at 11 a.m. on Wednesday June 21st. Interment at the cemtery of St-Gregoire-de-Nazianze Parish, Vankleek Hill.

Beloved husband of Gwendolyn (Robertson) Harris, survived by his loving children Anne, Gordon and his wife Julie, Scott and his wife Janice, his six grandchildren Kieran, Maddy, Marc, Daniel, Krystal and Andrea, also survived by his brother Bill and his wife Kaye of Halifax, his eight nieces and nephews, as well as eleven great-nieces and great-nephews. A great story teller who was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was the son of the late Grace and George Harris. After spending his working years in the province of Quebec, Ontario and North Carolina, U.S.A. he retired in London, Ontario. Friends will be received by the family 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street, South, London. The complete funeral service will be conducted at St. Anne's Anglican Church (Byron), 1344 Commissioners Rd. W., London on Thursday June 22nd at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Canon Walter G. Mills officiating. Cremation with interment of cremated remains in Bayfield, Nova Scotia at a later date.
