URQUHART, John Lorne Service with 7th Recce and Royal Montreal Regiment WWII, Member of Royal Canadian Legion Westboro Branch #480 At Chateau Gardens, Lancaster, ON, on Saturday, May 13, 2000, at age 87, John Urquhart, beloved husband of the late Patricia Bowles. Step-father of Russell Havelin (Helen) and Norman Bowles (Laura). Grandfather of Leslie and Kent Bowles; Laura Coady (Leo) and Paula Havelin and great-grandfather of Kyle, Luke and Andrew Coady. Brother of Pastor Eric Urquhart (Sheila). Predeceased by 9 sisters and 5 brothers. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m., Pastor Eric Urquhart officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Andrew's United Church, Williamstown, preceding inurnment at church cemetery. For those wishing, a memorial donation to the Salvation Army would be appreciated. A Legion service will be held on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Westboro Branch #480.

KIRCHHOFF, Hans-Ewald After a courageous battle with Lupus and lung-disease on June 12, 2000 at home. Beloved husband of Elizabeth, cherished father of Monica and Andre. Also survived by his sisters, Valeria (Josef Sternberg) and Rosel, both of Germany. Fondly remembered by the extended families in Germany and Switzerland, and by many friends and business associates. Funeral service on Saturday, June 17th at 10 a.m. in the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave. (Private interment). LAVERGNE, Eunice Gertrude Eunice Gertrude Lavergne of Red Deer, Alberta, beloved wife of Francis D. Lavergne, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, on Sunday, June 11, 2000 at the age of 80. Eunice was born on January 11, 1920 at Montreal, Quebec and raised in Ottawa and Smiths Falls, Ontario. She has been married to Francis for over 50 years and during his military career which has brought them to live in Ontario, Manitoba and British Columbia making many friends along the way and retiring to Red Deer, Alberta in 1990. Besides her loving husband Francis, she is survived by her sons and daughter Herbert (Carol) and Louis (Manja) of Red Deer, Victoria (James) Moore of Yucca Valley, California, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, her sisters and brother, Doris Yuen, Eveline Fong, Lem Wong, all of Ontario and their families. Funeral Services will be held from the "67TH STREET CHAPEL" of the Red Deer Funeral Home, 6150-67th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, June 15, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. conducted by the Reverend John McKay. MURRAY, James Keith "A Consummate Gentleman" On Saturday, October 7, 2000, James Keith Murray, was united with his love of a lifetime, Jane. Passed peacefully after living 3 1/2 years under the watchful care of the "Angels" at Bradford House, Floor 2, Island Lodge. Jim was predeceased by his brother George and sister Christine Ault (George). Jim's example of Christian love touched all who knew him. He is survived by his loving family, brother Charles (Barbara), sister-in-law Theo and many caring nieces and nephews. "It is from our parents that we first learn how to love and give love in return". Jim's kindness, compassion, generosity of spirit and unconditional love are cherished by his daughter Janet Banigan (John), (daughter Janemary) and son Scott (sons James, Jared, John).
