DEGRAW - Peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury, on Monday, January 3, 2000, Maxwell J. (Max) DeGraw, of Rodney in his 83rd year. Born in Aldborough, son of Andrew DeGraw and Elizabeth Laird, he was predeceased by brothers Roy, Allen, James, Clarence and sister Flossie. Max retired from the railway in 1979 after 40 years with the C&O. Dearly loved by his wife Alva; sons Marvin (Pat) DeGraw of Windsor, Larry (Sonya) DeGraw of Alberta; daughter Ruth Ann (Don) Howse of West Lorne; brother Duncan (Lena) DeGraw of Blenheim; sister Teresa Hansen of Dutton; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where service will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. If desired, donations to Four Counties Health Services or the Cancer Society would be appreciated. TINDALL - At Caressant Care, Bonnie Pl., St. Thomas on Sunday, January 2, 2000. Miss Beryl Tindall of St. Thomas, in her 89th year. Daughter of the late Moody and Mina (Davidson) Tindall. First cousin of Janet Curtis and Kenneth Davidson, both in California. Dear friend of Grace and the late Robert Harris of St. Thomas, Catherine James of St. Thomas and Herman and Molly VanderBelt of Belleville. Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas on Wednesday afternoon from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. where the funeral and committal service will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Union cemetery.
