CHADWICK, Arthur Amos C.D. (Captain-retired, Royal Canadian Corps of Signals-36 years, Veteran WWII, Corps of Commissionaires) Wednesday, October 4, 2000, Capt. A.A. Chadwick, age 83. Son of the late John Lawrence Chadwick and Helen Gibson. Beloved husband of 60 years of Iris Joan Fry. Dear father of Nigel (Anna) of Godfrey and Dr. Christopher Chadwick (Linda) of Ottawa. Loving grandfather of Michael (Sandra) of Aurora, David of Ottawa and great grandfather of Johnathan and Alexander of Aurora. Dear brother of Nelson (Eleanor) of Brockville and Edna (Bud Gillott) of Napanee. Dearly loved by many relatives and friends. Predeceased by brothers Lawrence (late Florence), Jack (late Lucy), Kenneth (Marjorie) and a sister Dorothy (Stu Thomas). Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Ave., Ottawa, Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Saturday to Our Lady of Fatima Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Interment Pinecrest cemetery. In Memoriam donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre appreciated. Captain Chadwick served in the United Kingdom, France, Sicily, Italy, Northwest Territories and across Canada. He was a kind and gentle man who helped so many during his lifetime. Cindy, beloved wife of Pat, will be always loved and missed by her children Adam, Ashley and Arianna; her mother Helen Whalen; her brother Chris (and Lisa); her sisters Sandra (and Doug) Paul, Debbie (and Marc) Courneya, and Vicky (and Dave) McCormack; her mother and father-in-law Nellie and Leon Clement; her grandmother Elizabeth Armstrong; Pat's brothers and sisters and their spouses, her aunts, uncles, relatives and many friends. He was loving father of Bruce and Connie of Elgin. Dearly devoted son of Rhae Cooper, residing at Carveth Care Centre, Gananoque. Predeceased by his father Arthur Thomas Cooper in 1968.
