KIDD, John Bernard (Bernie) Suddenly, at his residence, on Tuesday May 9, 2000. Bernie Kidd in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Helen. Loving father of Dan and his wife Tracy, Dianne Kidd and her husband Claude Gomes, Marylynn and her husband Mike Shippers, Marlena and her husband Rick Rowe, and Nancy and her husband Doug Stewart. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Amanda, Lindsey, Madison, Mitchell, Eric, Brittany, Justin and Braydon. Dear brother of P.J., Charlie, Mike and Eugene. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gertrude's Catholic Church, Oshawa on Saturday May 13 at 11 a.m. Interment Resurrection cemetery , Whitby. Loving mother of Florence Bell, Elora; Shirley Evans (Gary), Oxford, Mississippi; Bill, deceased (Lucille), RR # 1 Napanee; John (Carol), Napanee; George (Gail), Napanee; Fran Greer (Bryan), Napanee, David (friend Barb), RR #1 Napanee; Charles (Susanne), RR #1 Napanee; Debbie Foster (Larry), Nepean; Helen Courneya (Gerard), Napanee and Susan Tyner (Robin), Marlbank. Sadly missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her granddaughter Stephanie Tyner; her brothers Hubert & Archie Boyd and her son-in-law Bob Bell. SMITH, Marc Leonard (Dr.) Marc died peacefully on June 19, 2000 in Toronto, after a prolonged illness at the age of 31. Marc is survived by his wife, Dr. Janice Kwon, his mother, Marthe and his brothers, Joe (wife, Joanne); Paul and his sister Monique. He is predeceased by his father Richard ("Dick") Smith. He will be lovingly remembered by his many friends and family including his wife's family, Dr. Yul and Mrs. Kwon and Dr. Brian Kwon. Marc graduated from St. Joseph's - Scollard Hall (North Bay) in 1988 and Queen's Faculty of Medicine in 1994. At the time he fell ill, he was completing his residency in Rehabilitation Medicine in Kingston. After a long and courageous battle, he succumbed to aplastic anemia. We will always remember his warm smile and sweet disposition. Visitations will be held at McGuinty Funeral Home, North Bay on Wednesday, June 21 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption, North Bay on Thursday, June 22 at 10:00 a.m. A memorial service will be held in Kingston at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation - Bone Marrow Transplant Unit or to a Queen's Faculty of Medicine Bursary in his memory would be greatly appreciated.092072

Loving wife of Hans Snoek, mother of Adriana and Dan Wyngaarden (Kingston), Johanna and Peter Stam (Gananoque), Henry and Wendy Snoek (Brampton). Loving Oma to Lisa, Laurie, Michelle; Cassandra, Ben, Hilarie; Ryan, Lindsay, Mark. Survived by her brothers Koos and Ada DeGraaf (Holland), Jack and Kathy DeGraaf (Seeley's Bay), Huib and Anneka DeGraff (Holland). Predeceased by brother Jaap and Lena DeGraaf (Holland). Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends at the Robert J. Reid & Sons Funeral Home, 309 Johnson Street, on Thursday, June 22 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service at First Christian Reformed Church, 310 Kingscourt Avenue, on Friday, June 23 at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy the family would very appreciate memorial donations to the M.S.
