SMITH, Edward Charles 64 Years. passed away peacefully on December 14, 2000 at the Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Hilda (nee Herrmann). Loving and devoted father to Rhonda Kenny and husband Brad, James Smith and wife Kelly, and Leslie Smith; all of Windsor. Cherished grandfather of Steven and Tyler Kenny, Amanda and Kristen Smith, and Kayla, Corey and Kortney Smith. Dear brother to Frances Machibroda and her late husband John, Lorraine Crawford and husband John, and Allan Smith. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Edward was retired from Standard Printing. CARLINI, Vincenzo Entered into eternal life peacefully on April 16, 2001 with his loving wife and family by his side. Born January 1, 1935 In Ceccano (Frosinone Italy). Beloved husband of Flora (nee Fraccola). Wonderful father of Tony and his wife Janice Carlini; Clara and her husband Charles Shamas and Claudia and her husband Pasquale Barba. Adoring Nonno of his grandsons Antonio and Gianluca Barba and Giulian Shamas. Loving son of the late Paolo (1987) and Maria (nee Aversa). Son-in-law of the late Domenico (1995) and Amelia Fraccola. Dear brother of Mario and his wife Maria-Pia Carlini and Antonio and his wife Teresa Carlini, the late Joe (1990) and his wife Josephine Carlini, the late Ludovico (1996) and his wife Giuliana, the late Michele (1996) and his wife Mary Carlini and Phillip and his wife Inae Carlini. Brother-in-law of Gina and her husband Antonio LaNorcia, Italy. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Vincenzo immigrated to Windsor in 1954. He was the Vice President of Carlini Collision, which he and his brother Joe co-founded in 1967. He was also a past member of the Canadian Trotting Association. Vincenzo was a peaceful and devoted family man who gave his love unconditionally to family and friends. He cherished his family, especially his 3 grandsons and would spend endless time with them taking them places or telling them his favourite stories. We are proud to have been guided by this wonderful man. He taught us to be brave regardless of the difficulties that come our way. He courageously fought his battle with cancer to the end. Visiting at Janisse Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel, 1139 Ouellette Ave, on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Friday 9 a.m. from the Funeral Home to St. Angela Merici Church at 9:30. Frank is survived by his brothers Rocco and wife Mimma of Niagara Falls, Valentino and wife Pina of Connecticut, brothers-in-law Fortunato Surace, Prof. Giuseppe Giugno and wife Evelina of Italy, Prof. Franco Giugno and wife Pina of Italy, Paolo Giugno and wife Carla of Italy, sisters-in-law Gina Marafioti of Italy, Concetta Zimbalatti and husband Dr. Steven Zimbalatti of Redford, Michigan, along with their respective families.
