Shaheen, Samia Rose, 31 years, Thursday, January 10, 2002 surrounded by her family at South Miami Hospital, Miami, Florida. Late of Essex. Loving daughter of Jim and Millie Shaheen, Essex. Dear sister of Daniel Shaheen, LaSalle;Susan and Ernest Olde, Grand Cayman Islands; Joseph and Charlene Shaheen, Essex. Dear aunt of Stefano Shaheen, Erika and Jacob Olde, Matthew and Hanna Shaheen. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Special friend of Nancy Bernath and Cindy Nantais. Samia received her Honours BA, Masters English Lit.; was called to the Bar, Law Society of Upper Canada; was a candidate for Masters of Law; a lecturer at St. Clair College; and a local practitioner. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Avenue East, Essex (776-4233) Monday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, January 16, 2002 at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 146 Talbot Street South, Essex from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass to celebrate Samia's life at 10 a.m. Father Michael Parent officiating. Interment Heavenly Rest cemetery , Windsor. Parish Prayers Tuesday evening. Memorial donations made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. Kim was employed by Daimler Chrysler for almost 30 years. Loving father to Marjay Desjarlais of Essex, Marlin & wife Sandiof Cottam, Marlene & husband Dave Roelens of Kingsville, Mardell & wife Tanya of Essex, Marianne Adams of Essex, Marc and friend Laurie McConville of Essex. Survived by brothers & sisters Howard and Shirley Adams Gasline, Ont., Ruth & husband Chuck Coulthurst Ridgeway, Isabelle Bodnar Gasline, Ont, Frances & husband Earl York Fort Erie. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Greg, Jackie, Charlie, Laina, Abby & Lindsy. Predeceased by his parents Joe & Jessie Adams, sisters Marjorie Adams, Cora Watts, Thelma Adams, and brothers Joe and Robert Adams. Jay was a WWII Veteran, Royal Canadian Legion. Branch 201 member, Retired-OPP Officer after 35 years of service, an avid Horse Racing fan, and will be remembered for his love of hockey and horse shoes. Visiting at the Stewart L Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd., 128 Talbot St. N. Essex, (776-7378) on Wednesday, 2 5 PM, and 7 9 PM. Funeral to be held in the funeral home on Thursday, July 26, 2001 at 10,30 am Rev. George Cox officiating. Interment in Victoria Memorial Gardens, Oldcastle. Royal Canadian Legion Service at 7,30 PM on Wednesday. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or the CNIB would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Dear mother of Margaret and Larry Newport, Cottam; Rose and Jeff Martinello, Tecumseh; Peter Colucci, Windsor. Loving nona of Lisa and Rob Higgins; Kenny Newport; Meghan Colucci. Dear sister of Romeo and Nina Valeri; Orlando and Anna Valeri, all of Ruthven; Guisseppi and Elizabeth Valeri, Leamington. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Luisa recently retired from the Essex Nursing Home after 30 years. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Avenue East (County Road 8) Essex (776-4233) Monday 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass to celebrate Luisa's life at Holy Name of Jesus Church 146 Talbot Street South, Essex on Tuesday July 17, 2001 at 11,30 am. Entombment Heavenly Rest cemetery. Parish Prayers Monday 7,30 pm. Memorial donations made to the Arthritis Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Harris, William Robert Kenneth

Harris, William Robert Kenneth-Was taken from us suddenly on Saturday, March 20, 1999 , as a result of a car accident, at the tender age of 16. Willy will be forever missed by his loving parents, William and Beverley and sister, Christine, all of York , and dear brother of James McCauley of Hamilton . Also sadly missed by his grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Harris of Allenford and Iris Downie of York , as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Also missed by his classmates at Cayuga Secondary, his teammates on the Warrior Football Team and teammates from the Glanbrook All Star Baseball Team. Especially missed by his best friends, John Hunter and Mark Phillips from their band, Mass Hestaria. The Funeral will take place from the Miller Funeral Chapel, Cayuga, on Wednesday, March 24 at 11a.m. Interment in Sinclairville United Church cemetery . Visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Jacobs, Cale Daniel Lucas. Suddenly entered into rest in Cayuga, on Thursday, July 26, 2001 , Cale Jacobs, in his 17th year. Loving son of Lucas and Janice Jacobs, and loved brother of Andrew. Dear grandson of Betty and the late Louis Ahrens of Ayton, and Lucas and Johanna Jacobs of Cayuga. Cale will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Cale was an avid skateboarder, dirt biker and snowboarder. He played guitar and enjoyed fixing his bikes. He attended Cayuga Secondary School and was an employee of the I.G.A. A funeral Mass will be said from St. Stephen s R.C. Church in Cayuga on Monday, July 30th at 11 a.m. Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday with Prayers at 8 p.m. Sunday in the Miller Funeral Chapel, Cayuga. Interment in St. Stephen s cemetery. Dearest grandfather of Deanna Lassaline and husband Wayne, Bill Holman and wife Debbie, Joe Holman and wife Bonnie, Sherri Pyne and husband Jason, Roberta Holman and Scott Sharpe, Jennifer Holman and Michael Collard, Gillian Holman and great grandfather of Emilie, Olivia, Ashley, Courtney, Laura, Sarah, Brooke, Madison, Kayla, Brent and the late Tyler (2001). Dear brother of Ronald Holman and wife Betty, Kingsville; Madeline Mitchell and husband the late Arthur, Amherstburg; the late Ella and Clifford Rice. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Chuck was a Veteran of World War II having served in various parts of Europe, Post Master in Woodslee, Founding member of the Church of the Living Word. Predeceased by 1 grandchild. Also survived by 3 brothers & 2 sisters & several nieces & nephews. Madge was a member of the Essex Baptist Church. She was also a Returns Officer for the Riding of Essex & held a life membership for the P.C. Riding. Visiting at the Stewart L Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd., 128 Talbot St. N. Loving son of Margaret Bracewell of Windsor, and son-in-law to Alda DaPonte & her husband Luis. Also survived by brothers David, Wayne & his wife Michelle Bracewell. Will also be sadly missed by nephews Chad & Colin. Predeceased by his father the late Robin Bracewell and one brother Stephen. Robert was an employee of Heller Machine Tools Troy Michigan. Robert s life passions were his family, making music, hunting & fishing. Visiting at the Stewart L Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd., 128 Talbot St. N. Essex (776-7378) on Friday, May 31, 2002 from 2-5 PM & 7 9 PM.
