Chamberlain, Carol

Chamberlain, Carol. On Thursday, November 30, 2000 at her home in Leamington, after a lengthy battle with cancer, Carol has finally been relieved of the burdens and indignities of illness. She will always be loved by her daughter, Jane and her husband, Robbie. Sharing their sadness are her father, Pat Chamberlain of Deal Kent, England and her brother, Michael of London, England. Carol was a respected teacher at Gore Hill School near Leamington, Ontario where she will be missed by staff and students. She exemplified the virtues of courtesy, respect and decency. As a member of our small but loving family, Carol was known as the Food Police, guarding us against the evils of rich foods while ensuring that our plates were filled with a variety of colourful nutritious foods. She was a longtime runner with two marathons to her credit. She loved to travel and over the years made her way from the Arctic to Asia with many stops in between. She was taken from us much too soon. Carol always loved flowers.
