The Prosser family was one of the pioneer families of Leamington, moving to the Leamington Community in 1869. Marie was an original member of the Leamington Hospital Auxiliary, a member of Knox Presbyterian Church and the Knox Sunshine Afternoon Auxiliary, which became the Isabel McConnell Auxiliary and the Margaret Ramsay Auxiliary. Marie was a longtime employee at the Bank of Montreal.
