Dear sister of Mary Bankowski and husband Bill, Troy, MI; Geanna Goretski and husband the lateSylvester, St. Clair Shores, MI; George Choptowich and wife Ann, Windsor. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. At Rose's request a private family funeral service has been held. Donations, made by cheque, by contacting the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington, to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

Loving grandmother of 25, great grandmother of 42 and great great grandmother of 25. Dear sister of Henry Remple, Lawrence, Kansas. Loving aunt of six nieces and nephews; great aunt and great great aunt of many. Faber, Marie (Prosser). 106 years, Tuesday, September 19, 2000 at Erie Glen Manor. Lifelong resident of Leamington. Beloved wife of the late Fred (1927). Beloved mother of the late Jenette (1987) and husband G. Knight Houghton, Illinois. Dearest grandmother of Jennifer, Texas and Gordon, Illinois. Predeceased by her parents Darius and Jenette Prosser. The Prosser family was one of the pioneer families of Leamington, moving to the Leamington Community in 1869. Marie was an original member of the Leamington Hospital Auxiliary, a member of Knox Presbyterian Church and the Knox Sunshine Afternoon Auxiliary, which became the Isabel McConnell Auxiliary and the Margaret Ramsay Auxiliary. Marie was a longtime employee at the Bank of Montreal. Doug was the owner of 509 Cabs, he started the first answering service in Leamington and was the proprietor of "Doug's Place" restaurant on Pt. Pelee Drive. Doug was involved with many charities and since his retirement, he worked with the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
