Fieguth, Dr. Wolfgang, 76 years, suddenly at his residence in Edmonton on Thursday, May 31, 2001. Formerly of Leamington. Dear brother of Ruth Harder and her late husband Alfred, Leamington. Dear uncle of John Harder and wife Sherry, Windsor; Charles Harder, Windsor; Rick Harder and wife Charlene, Leamington. Great nieces and great nephews also survive. Wolfgang received his PH D at the University of Western Ontario; his Bachelor of Arts at Bethel College. He was a professor of Geography at the University of Manitoba and University of Alberta until his retirement. He will be sadly missed by the many friends and colleagues he met through his travels around the world. Dear son-in-law of Fred Sorrell, Leamington and the late Pearl Sorrell (1992) and brother-in-law of Don Sorrell, Ernest Sorrell and his wife Gloria, all of Leamington. Jim is also survived by aunts, cousins and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Delbert (1951) and Ruby Gillanders (1985), and by his brother Robert Gillanders (1989). Jim was a longtime employee (33 years) with the H.J. Heinz Co. until his retirement in 1987 and a member of the Leamington Masonic Lodge #290 A.F. & A.M.
