VERVAEKE, RITA Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital, Sarnia on Saturday January 19, 2002 in her 84th. year formerly of (Nober) Hagersville. Daughter of the late Alex and Irma (VanWynsberg) Vervaeke. Dear sister of Hector and May (both deceased), Albert of Ottawa and Pearl (deceased), Victor of Waterdown and Kaye and Bev (both deceased), Gerald and Wilma of Brantford, Stella (deceased) and Howard Girodat of Hanover, George and Pauline of Nober, Hilda and Vince Gerber of Sarnia, and Roy and Jean (both deceased). Rita will also be deeply missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Rita was also a member of the Catholic Womens League in Hagersville, Walpole, and Sarnia. The family will receive friends at the Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes, 60 Main Street South Hagersville on Monday 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Hagersville on Wednesday January 23, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic cemetery , Caledonia. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Charity of Your Choice. Evening Prayers at the funeral home 8,30 p.m. Tuesday.

Bill was a member of St. John's Lodge #35 AF&AM, Cayuga & the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #159, Cayuga. The Family will receive friends at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B.Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., Hagersville 2-4 & 7-9pm Sunday. Funeral Servcice in the Chapel on Monday at 11am. Loving grandmother of Grant Nopper, Bruce and Paula Nopper and Cheryl and Alex Frank and great grandmother of Jeremy and Andrew Nopper and Tristan Frank. Sister of the late Ernest Lindsay, Grace McBride, Ruby Pond and Beryl Leng. Resting at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B.Anderson Funeral Homes, 60 Main St. S. Hagersville 2-4 & 7-9pm Sunday. Funeral Service at the Hagersville Christian Reformed Church, 13 Sherring St. N. Hagersville on Monday at 11am. Graveside Service at Burlington Memorial Gardens on Monday at 2,30pm.

Koocher, Aaron & Devin

Date of Death: November 25th 1999
KOOCHER, AARON and DEVIN ages 13 and 7, tragically killed by a drunk driver on November 25, 1999 in Hagersville, Ontario. Cherished sons of Fred and Sandra. Beloved grandsons of Joe and Doreen Melnick and Diane Koocher. Missed by aunts and uncles, Deb and Jim Russell, Richard and Monica Melnick, Wayne and Naomi Melnick, Tom and Linda Kennedy, Colleen and Bob Leckie, Bill Koocher, Tracey Bound and many cousins.
Aaron and Devin will both be missed by many friends made at River Heights Public School in Caledonia and their teammates in Caledonia Minor Hockey. Aaron will be missed for his wit and intelligence. Devin will be missed for his innocent zest for life. Both boys were known for their great compassion and kindness towards others.

Loving mother of Elvin and Lois Long of Wainfleet, Helen Berthelette of Hamilton, Mary and Axel Doerwald of Hagersville, Mable and Robert Nix of Sarnia, and the late Elmer Long. Loving mother-in-law of Marie. Dear grandmother of 17 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren. Sister of Bertha Helka of Hagersville, Mary Crane of Ridgeway, Esther and Bert Hansell of Stevensville, Herbie and Audrey Teal of Springvale, and the late Orland Teal, Verna Hux, Clarence, and Bruce Teal. Also will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Martha was a longtime member of the Brethren-In-Christ Church. The family will receive friends at the Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd, Hagersville on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will held at the Springvale Brethren In Christ Church on Friday May 31, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment Greenwood Springvale cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Springvale Brethren In Christ Church or the Brethren In Christ World Missions.

Nephew of Dave and Rose Bouman, Jack and Fay Ouwendyk, Maggie Funderburg, Don and Hennie Donovan, Jake and Ann Hamming, Alley Haveman, Jim and Sandy Dexter, Jimmy and Ang Cnossen, Lyne Cnossen, Kris and Ralph Walker and Shayne and Jennifer Petracca. Also survived by many cousins. Dear friend of Jen. The family received friends at the Hyde and Mott Chapel, Hagersville, The Funeral Service was held from Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, York on Wednesday, July 12, 2000 . Interment St. John s cemetery.
