Al Kuzmich, of Barrie in his 42nd year, beloved husband of Joanne. Loving and devoted father of Gregory and Bradley, both at home. Cherished son of Doreen and Dan Kuzmich of Port Sydney. Brother to Ken Kuzmich and his wife Elizabeth of Scarborough. Son-in-law to Bob and Joyce Askin of Wiarton. SUTHERLAND, Lorraine B. The family announces with great sorrow the peaceful passing of Lorraine B. Sutherland on Saturday August 10th 2002 , at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie , On. Aged 79. Beloved wife of the late Fred Hovey, and the late Walter Sutherland. Greatly missed by her son Bruce Hovey of Shanty Bay, and her daughter and son-in-law Orian and Alf Hartviksen, her grandchildren Kris and Shelley Hartviksen of Vancouver , her sister Mary Hogarth of Gravenhurst, and sisters-in-law Kay Bruce-Robertson and Sybil Hovey, all of Toronto. Predeceased by her parents Enid Graham and Dr. Lawrence Bruce-Robertson, and her brother Allan Bruce-Robertson of Toronto. Lorraine will be fondly remembered by her family and many friends for her Auntie Mame independence, flamboyant nature and great generosity. Driven to paint since the age of 7, Lorraine exhibited in numerous galleries, her works now in private collections in North America and Europe. Lorraine served with the R.C.A.F. in Aeronautical Engineering, taught painting, was a member of numerous galleries and benefactor of the MacLaren Art Centre of Barrie.
