SCOTT - At St. Joseph's Hospital on October 26, 2002, JEAN MARION (LOWEN) SCOTT in her 83rd year, of Sarnia. Loving wife of the late John Peter Scott. Cherished mother of Christine & Vance Curry, Sarnia and Richard & Sharon Scott, Ottawa. Dear grandmother of Jennifer, Michael, Katherine & Brad, Christopher, Timothy, Christopher and Robyne. Great grandmother of Jordan. Sister of Stanley and Brian Lowen and their families in England, sister-in-law of Jean Lowen and family, Rhode Island and Toronto, and Pam Dickenson and family, England. Predeceased by sister Stella and brothers Philip and Ronald. Cremation has taken place. Family interment at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the World Wildlife Fund.

Cherished grandmother of Paul Stack & his wife Trish, Penantang, Bryan Stack & his friend Bonnie Dunn, Sarnia, Mark Stack, Sarnia, Kathleen Horner & her husband Ken, Chatham and Michael Woodcock & his wife Leanne, Chatham. Great grandmother of James, Erin and Olivia. Always loved and remembered by sisters Susan Murray, Killaloe and Catherine Hoffman, Chatham. Predeceased by brothers Martin James, Hugh, Philip, John Andrew, Harold, Michael and Francis Grace. Also loved and missed by several nieces & nephews. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia 7-9 p.m. Sunday where prayers will be offered at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2002 at Our Lady of Mercy Church with Father Dan Rocheleau celebrating. Dear father of Randall Whyte and his wife Lenna, Arnprior, Darryl Whyte, Sarnia, Kenneth Whyte and his wife Bette, Kitchener, Karen Baron and her husband, Bob and Nancy Carson and her husband John, London. Grandfather of Carolyn, Jeffrey, Erin and Steven Whyte, Kendra Marsh, Kimberly, Stephanie and Andrew Baron, Sarah, Bryan, David and Alyson Whyte and Liam and Aidan Carson. Great grandfather of Kayla Marsh. Predeceased by parents James and Leita Whyte, brothers James, Douglas and Jack Whyte and sister Elaine Hunt. Bill served with the Royal Canadian Navy in WWII. He was a retired Conductor with CNR and Via Rail after 40 years service. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Dunlop United Church, 757 Rosedale Ave., Sarnia. Great grandfather of Jamie Daughtrey, Scott Coffin, Arlene Coffin, Madeleine Coffin and Abigail Murray. Brother of Therese and Andre Leroux, Etiennette Muller,. Predeceased by parents Louis-Philippe and Alicia (Boivin) Beaudet, daughter Therese Kerrigan, brother Maurice Beaudet, and sisters Juliette Turcotte, Dorilla Beaudet, Marguerite Quenelle, Marie Rose Beaudet and Eliane Proulx. Henri was a life member of St. Thomas Aquinas Chuch, serving as an usher for 48 years. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers being offered at 8 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial 11a.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2003, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church,. BRAJAC - Peacefully at home on Sunday, January 26, 2003. DR. JOSIP BRAJAC, age 81 of Sarnia. Born in Starcevo, Yugoslavia to Miso and Maria Brajac. Loving father of Michael and Marlene, Pickering, David, California, Mia and Keith Bechard, Toronto and Christina and Fred Osmon, Chatham. Dida to Sean, Nicole, Lauren, Christopher Joseph and Nadine. Joe started his career as a neurosurgeon in Yugoslavia and worked with the M.A.S.H. unit in Austria before moving to Canada. Joe was a family doctor for over 40 years and a partner of the former Carruthers Clinic. He served on the Hospital Appeal Board, V.O.N. and St. Joseph's Hospital Board. He was an active member of the group practice division of the O.M.A. and the Lions Club. He was also active in the local Croatian community. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday where prayers will be offered at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Thursday January 30, 2003 at Our Lady of Mercy Church with Father Dan Rocheleau celebrating. CARROTHERS - At Vision Nursing Home Saturday, January 25, 2003 WILLIAM GERALD (JERRY) CARROTHES, age 75 of Sarnia. Beloved husband of Joan (Hunter). Dear father of Bill and his wife Lorenda, Dave and his wife Jeanette, Matt and his companion Sandy Lawson, John and his companion Cathy Champagne, Cathy and her husband Tony Pavli, Carol and her husband Ralph Viana and Mary and her husband Mike Fitchett all of Sarnia. Loving grandpa of Jim, Kevin, Jamie, Thomas and Amanda Carrothers, Mark, Laura and Emily Pavli, Jennifer and David Fitchett and Grace and Paul Viana. Dear brother of Celina Dinsmore of St. Louis and Pat Carrothers and his wife Janet of Windsor. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Beatrice Carrothers and sister Geraldine Eansor (1994). Born and raised in Windsor, he had resided in Sarnia since 1954. He was a conductor with the CNR and retired in 1987 with 39 years of service. A memorial service will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St. on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Inurnment to follow Resurrection cemetery.
