Cornett, Florence Peacefully at Versa Care Summit Place in Owen Sound on Wednesday, February 5, 2003. Florence Cornett (nee Sutton) of Owen Sound in her 92nd year. Wife of the late Austin Cornett. Dear mother of Harvey of Orillia, Barry and his wife Beth of Wasaga Beach, Douglas and his wife Carole of Owen Sound, Marilyn Collins of Brampton, Colleen and her husband Clifford McMullen and Linda and her husband Michael Smith all of Owen Sound. Lovingly remembered by fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by an infant son, William and her sister Evelyn. A memorial service for Florence will be announced at a later time in the spring. Interment in Greenwood cemetery , Owen Sound. Brown, Mildred Louise (Millie) Suddenly at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Monday, March 3, 2003. Millie Brown (nee Beare) of Owen Sound in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Milt Brown. Dear mother of Wayne and his wife Lynda of Petawawa and Wendy and her husband Fred Cathrae of Owen Sound. Sadly missed by five grandchildren Cindy and her husband John, Kim and her husband Rick, Terry Brown, Chris Cathrae and his wife Kathy and Carrie and her husband Brent and nine great grandchildren Cacey, Taylor, Aidan, Alexandra, Victoria, Zoe, Gabrielle, Caleb and Kayla. Also survived by her sister Kathy Greenfield, sisters-in-law Maureen Beare, Melba Beare and Irene Knowsley and her brother-in-law Arnold Brown. Predeceased by two brother s Bus and Ron Beare and her brother-in-law Garnet Greenfield. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family funeral will be held on Friday with Dr. Brad Clark officiating. Dear father of John Dow of Hanover and Linda Dow-Sitch and her husband Murray of Owen Sound. Loving Grandpa of Natalie, Spencer, Shelby and Robert. Brother of David Dow and his wife Marjorie of Fergus, Cliff Dow and his wife Doris of Durham and Lloyd Dow and his wife Eleanor of Dundalk. Brother-in-law of Sophronia Morton of Aurora, Arnold Tayles of Dundalk and Armour Tayles of Durham. Predeceased by his brother Doug Dow and his brother-in-law Allan Morton. Moss, Earle Roderick Internationally acclaimed pianist and teacher, bon vivant, gourmet cook, world traveler died at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Wednesday, March 19, 2003 after a long, painful but dignified struggle with age-related disabilities. He was 82 years of age. Dearly beloved brother of Eric (Bonnie) of Perth, Ontario and Sylvia ( Frances ) of Owen Sound, Ontario. Predeceased by brother Cyril Lloyd, mother Marian Agnes Kennard, father Cyril Albert and step-mother Frances Astley McDougal. Sadly missed by niece Catherine Moss and great niece Jesse Moss-Balan, nieces Joy (Raul) Pobre-Moss, Ruayan and Gay Pobre-Moss, nephew David Moss-Cornett and by many friends and students. Baptized in the Anglican Church of St. Barnabas ( Chester ) in Toronto, the city of his birth, Earle in later years converted to Roman Catholicism, taking the name Thomas, after St. Thomas, the doubting disciple of Christ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary s Catholic Church in Owen Sound on Saturday, March 22, 2003 at 11 o clock with celebrant Father Paul Walsh. At a date to be announced later, a Memorial Mass will be held at Regis College, 15 St. Mary Street, Toronto.
