In his 90th year, John Rayson Adams passed away peacefully after a long struggle with complications after a stroke. He died at Brampton Memorial Hospital with his wife and daughter at his side. John was the loving husband of 53 years to Maureen (Diaz) and father to John Andrew Adams (Ruth Ann) of Dartmouth N.S, Christopher Charles Adams of Mississauga and Dolores Adams of Brampton. Son Richard Rayson Adams predeceased 1997. He was the loving grandfather of Ruthmarie (Halifax, N.S) Christopher, Andrea, Hannah and Susanna Adams (Dartmouth, N.S). He was the son of the late Charles Adams of Donavon, Sask. and Annie Rayson of York, England. John R. was born in Saskatoon, Sask. He leaves his brother Richard (Anne) Adams and nieces Barbara (Roy), Sheila (Brian and family), Arlene and nephew Murray (Shauna and family) all residing in Saskatchewan. John joined the RCAF and was loaned to the RAF as part of their Radar Crew. He was stationed in North Africa, Italy and Northern England. After the war, he returned to the University of British Columbia and received his B.A. and B. Ed. in 1949. In 1950, he received a BLS from the Faculty of Library Science (University of Toronto). In 1952, he married Maureen Dolores Diaz (BLS, 1950). He worked in the Public and University Library fields. He was branch librarian in Niagara Falls, chief librarian in Welland and Brampton, ON, acquisitions librarian in University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, reference and circulation librarian in Leeds, England, Mississauga and Etobicoke Public libraries. He also worked for Sheridan College in Brampton. He was the co-founder with wife Maureen of the family puppetry theatre-The Adams Marionettes. He designed and made the marionettes stage, and he developed the sound and lighting for their marionette productions. The whole family was involved. They performed in libraries and schools in Southern Ont. When John retired he and Maureen traveled to many puppetry festivals in Canada and the USA. John wrote articles for the local paper in Welland and in Brampton. His interests were in science and he loved books, especially on cosmology. Although he suffered from clinical depression, he remained a very creative, caring and loving father, husband and grandfather. The family would appreciate donations in John R s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Mental Health Association or to the Unitarian Congregation of South Peel. Cremation has take place arranged by Ridley Funeral Home. Celebration of John R s life will be held at the Unitarian Church of South Peel on Sunday March 12, 2006 at 3 pm.

July 19, 1917 - January 22, 2006
With everlasting, fond and loving memories of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Eileen Williston passed away surrounded by her family on January 22, 2006 at Toronto Western Hospital in her 88th. year. Now reunited with her beloved parents, John Marshall Hubbard and Mary Anne (Murphy) Hubbard, her daughter Marilyn Ann, siblings, Kathleen Ahearn, Sister Mary of the Rosary (Cecelia Hubbard) and Raphael Hubbard. She was also pre-deceased by her husband Robert Allen Williston. She is survived by her children, Bonnie (Ontario), Marie (NB), Rick (Ontario) and Sandra (Ontario), 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, her brother Joseph Hubbard (Phyllis) of Miramichi (NB) and sister Theresa of Ontario, nieces and nephews. Eileen had a wonderful sense of humour, had a deep love of god and family and will never be forgotten by those who love her. Her kind and loving ways will remain with us always. She was a tremendous source of strength to her family and we give thanks for the strength she has passed on. Family and friends were received at the Ridley Funeral Home in Toronto with a service that followed on January 25, 2006. Eileen has now returned home to the place of her birth in Nelson-Miramichi, New Brunswick. A memorial mass will be held at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Nelson-Miramichi in the spring of 2006, with burial to follow. A newspaper notice will be published prior to the date inviting family and friends.

passed away peacefully at Peel Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 5, 2006 at the age of 89. Predeceased by his wife Vera. Much loved by his children Wanda Madill, Beverly Wilson, Joyce Caron, Sonny (Carl) Berry, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Al was a long time resident of Alderwood and a proud Newfoundlander. He was a carpenter by trade and a retired employee of Ontario Hydro. He most loved square dancing and listening to music. With grace and dignity, surrounded by his beloved family, Chris passed away at Trillium Hospital, Mississauga on February 15, 2006. Husband of 38 years to best friend Jennifer. Predeceased by his mother Pat, brother David and Father-in-law Bill. He will be missed by his mother-in-law Doris, brother Don (Marlene), little sister Patty-Jo (Gino), sister-in-law Colleen, sister-in-law Dianne (Kenny). Loving uncle to Diana, Wendy, Kelly, Martin and Kevin; Heather and Andrea; Danielle, Mark and Chris; Joanna, Michael and Christina; Lisa, Fiona and predeceased by Alex; and his many great-grand nieces and nephews. Chris fought a brave battle and never once complained. His family will miss his wisdom, his vibrant smile, his friendship and his compassion.
