Suddenly at home on Monday, June 7, 2010. Arnold Chester Sweet of Napanee at age 65. Beloved husband of Caroline Sweet (Lloyd). Dear father of Steven Sweet (Diane) of Camden East; Lisa Sweet (Bill Baker) of Napanee. Grandfather of Benjamin, Hillary and Hanna Sweet of Camden East, and Hayley, William, Harli and Seth Baker. Brother of Beverley Conway (Rick) of Newburgh; Jim Sweet (late Brenda) of Napanee. Predeceased by his brother Harold Sweet, infant sister Pauline and parents Cecil and Hulda Sweet. The family will receive friends at the WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, 123 Dundas Street West Napanee (613-354-3341) on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Saturday, June 12 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Violet cemetery. At the Kingston General Hospital, on Thursday, June 3, 2010. Madeline Ann Marie Sweet of Napanee at age 63. Beloved wife of Sam Sweet and dear mother of Clayton (Debbie) of Napanee; Violet Sweet (Carl Mills) of Henderson; Angela Sweet (Stacey) of Napanee; Joseph of Madoc and Leslie (Mark) of Napanee. Fondly remembered by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sister of Cynthia; Rose and Marjorie and the late Lanora; Eleanor and Sidney. Cremation has taken place. With profound sadness, the family announces the passing of Donna Ruth Gunby (nee Simpson) of Bath, formerly of Carlisle Ontario, in the Palliative Care Unit at Lennox & Addington County General Hospital, Napanee, on Monday, May 31, 2010. Beloved wife of Ross for 59 plus years and dear mother of Nancy (Peter) Wilkie of Bath, ON, and Hal (Nicole) Gunby of Whistler, BC. Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Sarah), John, Thomas, Kiana and Kekoa. Great Grandmother of Peyton. Others saddened by Donna's passing include many Square and Round Dancers and friends in Florida where Donna and Ross spent many winters. Special thanks to everyone at the KGH Cancer Centre, our home care nurses from St. Elizabeth Health Care, our palliative care nurses at L&A Hospital and our friends at Hospice L&A for their compassionate care and kindness. Cremation is taking place. A memorial service will be held at the Bath United Church, Thursday, June 3rd at 2:00 PM. In the care of WANNAMAKER-TIERNEY FUNERAL HOME, Napanee (613-354-3341). Wife of the late Chris Forster and dear mother of Dale Sweet of Marysville and Cathy Sweet-Musch (Greg) of Hartley, Iowa. Grandmother of Christen; Matthew and Jenelle Sweet and McKenzie Sweet-Allen. Sister of Marion Telford (Bob) of Napanee; Bill Lucas (Emily) of Erinsville and Jim Lucas (Helen) of Marlbank. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and the Forster family.
