At the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, with family by his side, after a brief hospital stay. John Robert Smyth of Tamworth at age 80. Beloved husband of 42 years to Sue. Loving father of Deborah Schmidt (Dan) of Ottawa; Shawn of Tamworth and dear step-father of Jenny Collister of San Francisco, CA. One of Jack s most cherished roles was as an honorary father to Gayle and Wayne, and grandfather to Bradley, Stephen and Kevin Yandon of Toronto and Tamworth. He will be sorely missed by brother-in-law Charles (Susan Cameron) and niece Steffany and nephew Kevin Trites, all of Ottawa. A special thank you to Linda Smith, Carole Frizzell and Sharon Ramsay for three years of care giving extraordinaire. Many thanks to Gary and Pat Hill, and Donna McNeil and Andy Glendenning for their ongoing love and support. In keeping with Jack s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be a private celebration of his life at a later date. Memorial donations made to the Stone Mills Fire Department or a charity of choice would be appreciated and may be made through the Hannah Funeral Home, Tamworth.

Romley (Ron) Arthur Love entered into his eternal rest to be with those gone before him at Lennox & Addington General Hospital in Napanee, Ontario, with his faithful wife Shirley at his side. He was the son of the late Chester Love and Lenora Dafoe. Ron leaves many beautiful memories behind for his cherished wife of 51 years, Shirley Ann (Clancy) Love, daughter Darlene (Holger Simmatis), Wanda Ann Love (deceased) and son Tim (Carole Simard), grandchildren Sheryl-Lynne, Ryan, Leif and Brigitte, brothers Bob (Betty), Wally (Audrey), Keith (Lorraine), Russell (Darlene), sisters Yvonne (Carl Clancy, deceased), Gail (Jim Whan) and Elaine (Lloyd Ducharme), brothers-in-law Ray Clancy (Pat), Doug Clancy (Margaret), George Clancy, the late Carl Clancy (Yvonne), sisters-in-law Dorothy Warwick, Corrine Renaud (the late Robert), Marilyn Fenwick (Donnie), and Jane Berry (Merv MacKinnon), and a huge number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME, Tamworth on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Service in the Funeral Home on Thursday, December 31, 2009, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at the Moscow cemetery. A lunch will follow at the Yarker United Church at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Cancer Center of Southeastern Ontario.
