Hodgins – Myrtle (nee Armstrong) Peacefully in Ottawa on Tuesday, September 02, 2003 in her 105th year. Beloved wife of the late Orville Hodgins. Dear aunt of Henry (Shirley), Jim, Ron (Marie) and Brian (Lorie) Armstrong and Ralph (Jeannine) Hodgins. Survived by her sister-in-law Hazel Armstrong and many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Lloyd (Jessie) and Cecil Armstrong and brother –in-law Hartley ( Florence ) Hodgins. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd. (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd. ) Nepean on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Proud grandmother of Jennifer (Ryan Platt), Shelley (Carlo Carella), Carol-Ann (Greg Decker) and Correy (Andrew Gervais), great-grandmother of Michaela, Scott, Jenna and Reagan. Beloved husband of the late Connie Leach (nee Fournell). Loving father of Carolyn Elaine (Ken Taylor). Proud grandfather of Brendon Clifford and Shane David. Life long friend of Marjorie Slack and Gwen and Bill Birrell. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt) on Sunday 2 - 4 & 7- 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 1:00 pm. Interment at Highland Park cemetery. In memory of Cliff donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. LEACH - MARY LOUISE On Tuesday August 26, 2003, in her 59th year, in her home and in the presence of family members, Mary Louise Leach (nee O'Brien) succumbed to a short but courageous fight will gall bladder cancer. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Fallowfield-Barrhaven, 15 Steeple Hill Crescent, Nepean on Friday August 29th at 2 p.m. Mary Louise is survived by her adoring and loving husband Bill (LGen (Ret'd), by her three wonderful children, Kim (Doug Bowron), Shelley (Jack Gribbon) and Marc (Celine Perrier), by her two adorable grandchildren Jamie and Jenna, by her mother Louise, her father Jack, her sister Katherine (Ken Fournie), her brothers Phillip (Marlene) and Dan Stirling (Jennifer), by her mother and father-in-law Beatrice and Bill Leach, by her sister-in-law Karen as well as by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Mary was a friend to all, a mother and grandmother extraordinaire, a cardiology technician at the Ottawa Heart Institute, the founder and past president of the Canadian Miniature Society, and a gifted artist with paintings in private and national collections. The family is especially grateful to Doctor's Hurdon and Coulombe and the services of The Hospice at May Court, and to Father Tom Riopelle and the St. Patrick's Parish for their support. Mary's inurnment will be held in the National Military cemetery of the Canadian Forces at Beechwood. For those who wish, donations to The Hospice at May Court, 114 Cameron Avenue, Ottawa, On, K1S 0X1 would be appreciated.

Survived by his sister Myrna Phillips, of Seafoam NS and his brother Charles A. MacDonald, of Burlington ON.
