Beloved husband of Elizabeth Bumstead (nee Charlton). Dear father of Harold Bumstead and his wife Judy Osborne of Sauble Beach, Wilma Bumstead of Owen Sound and Heather Bumstead of Guelph. Brother of Bill Bumstead and his wife June of Owen Sound. Predeceased by an infant daughter Marilyn. Brother-in-law of Ronald Charlton and his wife Marg of Orillia, Floyd Charlton and his wife Doreen of Toronto and Elmer Charlton and his wife Dianne of Annan. United States Army Air Force Post Electrical Engineer in Alaska. Band Sargeant Major and Bandmaster of the Orillia Silver Band. Chairman of the Orillia Water, Light and Power Commission from 1985 to 1993 consecutively. Director, Vice Chairman and Chairman of MEA (Municipal Electric Association) District 2. Vice President and President for the Tyler Co-op in Hollywood Florida for over 20 years. Member of Shanty Bay Golf Club, Couchiching Golf Club (Orillia), Orangebrook Golf and Country Club, Hollywood Golf and Country Club and Echo Golf and Country Club in Florida. Member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Geneva Lodge #320, Orillia - Veteran member for 55 years. Member of Twin Lakes Lodge, #718, A.F. & A.M., G.R.C. Member of the Spry Chapter of Rose St. Croix in Barrie. Member of the Barrie Lodge of Perfection. Member of the Moore Sovereign Consistory in the Valley of Hamilton obtaining his 32nd Degree in the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite.)
He will be reunited with his late wife Beulah Catherine Brennan (nee McIntyre), his two grandchildren Sylvia Catherine Marie Brennan and Michael David Joseph Brennan, his brothers Cecil Wray Brennan and Jack Mervin Brennan and his parents Jessie Gladys (nee Lawrence) and Otto Harrington Brennan. His spirit will live on in his seven children Wayne Brennan and wife Arlene, Gale Brennan and friend Rick, Elva Harris and husband Dale, Glenda Oschefski and husband Peter, Wesley Brennan and wife Beverley, June Arnold and husband Robert and Kenneth Brennan and wife Janice all of Orillia and Bass Lake Area.
