CRISTOVAO - At L.H.G. Mitton St. Site, on Tuesday, October 7, 2003, MARIA CRISTOVAO, age 79 of Sarnia. Beloved wife of the late Manuel. Dear mother of Carlos, Sarnia and Lucilia Medeiros, Portugal. Loving grandmother of Jason Cristovao (Dove Fisher), Sarnia, Rahat Altaf, Sarnia and Filipa Medeiros, Portugal. Great-grandmother of Michael, Donaven, Ashlynn and Whittney. Also survived by son-in-law Mike Altaf. Predeceased by a daughter Maria Jose. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Church. Cremation to follow.

Cowell, Maxine (nee Stockwell). 91 years, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2003 at Leamington District Memorial Hospital. Late of Ruthven. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Cowell (1974). Loving mother of Doug Cowell and wife Ruby, Ruthven; Lloyd Cowell and wife Marianne, Rochester Hills, MI; Allen Cowell, Ottawa. Dearest grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 13. Dear sister of Marie McGuire, Leamington; Garnet Stockwell, Windsor; Cliff Stockwell and wife Jean, Cottam; and sister-in-law Barbara Stockwell, Peterborough. Predeceased by her parents George and Mima Stockwell, brother Wallace Stockwell, sister Madeline Kennedy and husband Sterling, sister-in-law Ruth Stockwell and brother-in-law Jack McGuire. Maxine was a member of the Ruthven Rebekah Lodge #188. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Maxine’s life, from the Funeral Home, on Monday, December 1, 2003 at 11 a.m. Rev. Stephen Jones offictiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial cemetery. COUSINEAU, (Joe) Joseph Gerald -peacefully at home in Coldwater on Tuesday, September 16, 2003, in his 78th year. Joe, beloved husband of Margaret (nee Genelle). Dear father of Jack and wife Milly of Coldwater, David and wife Marie of Honey Harbour and Susan Schell and husband John of Kilworthy. Loved grandfather of Shawn, Melissa, Lorne Lisa, the late Mark and great grandfather of Patricia, Danielle, Christopher, Samanatha, Nathan and Lucas. Joe is survived by 12 brothers and sisters and predeceased by one brother. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. The late Mr. Joe Cousineau will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 789 West St. N., Orillia, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday morning, September 20th, at 11 o'clock. Interment , St. Michael's cemetery , Orillia. If desired, memorial donations made to the Shriners would be appreciated by the family.

On Sunday November 30, 2003, after being blessed with 90 years of life, the Lord called home unto Himself from Shalom Manor, Grimsby, our dear father, grand father and great grandfather. Predeceased by his loving wife Grietje (Winter) Kok (Nov. 3, 1982). Albert is survived by his children John and Mary Ann Kok of Grimsby, Grace and Dick Nykamp of R.R. 2, Hagersville, Peter and Jenny Kok of Surrey, B.C., Jane and Dave Muizelaar of Coaldale, Alta., Albert and Ann Kok of Taber, Alta., Henry and Debbie Kok of R.R. 3, Waterford, Mary and Hans Boks of Hamilton and Tony and Karen Kok of Iron Springs, Alta. Loving grand father of 36 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Also survived by sister-in-law Trientje Kok of Holland. Brother of the late Willem, Albert and Marie. Friends are invited to call at Cooper Funeral Home, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Following a family graveside service at Knox Presbyterian Church cemetery , the family invites relatives and friends to atten the funeral service which will be held at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Donations to Shalom Manor, Grimsby would be appreciated by the family.

-peacefully at the Atrium Retirement Home, in her 98th year. Elva Graham of Lake Dalrymple, beloved wife of the late Chester Graham. Loving mother of Jim & wife Ellen, Lois Feltis (predeceased) & husband Tom all of Lake Dalrymple, Jean Jones of Lindsay. Loved by her grandchildren Heather Graham, Rob Graham, Sara Dunkley & husband Brad, Chyrl Bourassa & husband Troy, Peter Feltis & partner Kara Backway, Randy Feltis, Patrick Jones & wife Suzanne, and Justin Jones, and her 2 great grandchildren Sophie Bourassa & Liam Feltis. Survived by her sister Mirell Chrysler of Lake Dalrymple, and predeceased by her brother Roy Chrysler. The Late Mrs. Elva Graham will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia from 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral Service in the chapel, on Saturday afternoon, October 4th at 3 p.m. Interment , Dalrymple United Church cemetery. GRAY, Keith Eugene (Veteran WWII, Legion Member-Midland/Sarnia Branches) Courageously and fiercely, Keith passed away on Sunday, September 7th at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Midland. His beloved wife and friend of 54 years, Rose Marion (nee Stelman) predeceased him on June 2nd, 2000. His son Douglas and wife Patricia survive him. As well, he was the loving grandfather of Jamie and Jeremy Gray and his partner Sarah Perry, Nicholas, Sarah, Jason and Danielle Bentley. There will be a Memorial Service held in the chapel of the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St.,N., Orillia, on Friday September 12 at 3 o'clock. Private interment of his ashes will be in Caledonia. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Cherished Nonna of Austin Giresi, Michael, Matthew, Caterina and Marcus Giresi, Ashley and Aaylea Giresi, Brooke, Alana, Jerica, Jacob and Madison Giresi all of Sarnia. Dear sister of Ida and husband Vincenzo of Italy, Corita and husband Vincenzo of Venezuela and brother-in-law Antonio of Italy. Loving cousin of Maria Barbato and family, Ralph Grasso and wife Paolina and family, Chris Grasso and wife Emilia and family all of Sarnia. Aunt of many nieces and nephews in Italy and Venezuela. Predeceased by her parents, sister Elvira of Italy and infant son Joseph Giresi. Mrs. Giresi along with her husband owned at operated 'Granny's Pizza' in Reece's Corners for approximately 20 years. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers and eulogies offered at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m.Thursday, November 13, 2003 at St. Peter's Church, 756 Maxwell St. Interment Our Lady of Mercy cemetery. HAGEN - Suddenly at home, on Monday, November 17, 2003, BARBARA HELEN (COCHRANE) HAGEN, age 76 of Sarnia. Beloved wife of the late Earl Hagen (1999). Loving mother of Patricia and her husband Neil Bowman, St. Albert, Alta, Marie Denys, Sarnia, Mike and his wife Georgina, Sarnia and Mark and his wife Stacey, Brigden. Loving grandmother of Mary, Erin, Stacy, Carla, Jeremy, Tim and Eric, Alex, Paul & Michael. Great-grandmother of Victoria. Dear sister of Eula Hopper, Murphy Lake, N.S., Pat Ward & her husband Ev, Summerside, P.E.I., sister-in-law of Rolena Cochrane, Kentville, N.S. Predeceased by son Robert Hagen, brother Harley and parents Myrtle & James Cochrane. Mrs. Hagen was a registered nurse graduating from Grace Hospital, Halifax, class of 1948 and worked at the St. Joseph's Hospital for many years. Barbara also drove the 'Share' bus for 13 years. Cremation has taken place. A family graveside service celebrating Barbara's life will be held at Our Lady of Mercy cemetery at a later date. Edward; Jim Haggarty & wife Doreen, Markdale, ON; Dale Haggarty & wife Karen, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Doreen McCallum & husband Jim, Sarnia; and half-brother of Edith Hyatt & the late Albert, Petrolia. Dear uncle of Bonnie (Ted) Perryman, Corunna; Tom Haggarty, Pt. Edward; Brenda (Jim) Hardy, Bright's Grove; James (Cathy) Haggarty, Brampton; Dana Gallant, Calgary; Mark Haggarty and Kalie Haggarty, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; James (Pam) Bartley, Sarnia; Pam (Chris) Scott, Windsor; Gordon Hyatt, Petrolia; David (Cathy) Hyatt, Whitby; and Wanda Hyatt, Petrolia. Great uncle to many great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by half-brother Preston Haggarty. Ray was a long time member of Temple Baptist Church and was a past employee of Imperial Oil and Robbie's Renovation's.
