JOHNSTONE, Norval at Roberta Place, Barrie, on Thursday, November 6th, 2003. Beloved husband of the late Edith Mabson. Loved father of Art Johnstone and his wife Dorothy. Dear grandfather of Rick Johnstone, Lori Legere (Clayton), Dale Johnstone, and Art Johnstone (Joanne). Great-grandfather of Katie, Crissy, and David Legere, Erica and Richard Johnstone. Special “Grampa J” to Tammy, Chris, Shannon, Kelly, Taylor, Todd, Andy, Cole, Keyda, Jodey, Matt, and Emily. Norval will be fondly remembered by the Gallaugher and Harrison families. A sincere thank you to Dr. H. Cutbush and the staff at Roberta Place for their wonderful care. Cremation, with family service to follow. ELLIOTT, Raymond Ross – Peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie Ontario on Tuesday November 18th, 2003. Ross Elliott ( Born in Newman’s Cove Newfoundland ) of Barrie in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Mildred Elliott (nee Tucker). Loving father of Reg Elliott of Pickering, Doug Elliott and his wife Debbie of Barrie and Greg Elliott and his wife Donna of Barrie. Cherished grandfather of Christy Flinders and her husband Billy, Stephen, Lucas, Casey, Christopher and Kevin. Loving great grandfather of Tia and Taylor. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Dear brother-in-law of Gerald Tucker and his wife Angie of Cornwall. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME (Clapperton at Worsley Street ) Barrie, after 2 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Saturday November 22nd at 3 p.m. Memorial donations to the Parkinsons Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Loved mother of Kurtis and his friend Amanda Weppler of Desboro and Darryl of Chesley. Beloved daughter of Jack and Marilyn Williton of Desboro. Granddaughter of Reginald Barber of Owen Sound and the late Daisy Barber and the late Clifford and Olive Williton. Dear sister of Bill and his wife Glendeen of Newfoundland, Jim and his friend Sharon and Pat and her husband Brian Juniper all of Leith, Don of Desboro and Betty-Lou “Boo” and her husband Dave of Cambridge. Predeceased by a sister Barb. Godmother of Jacklyn Warmington. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Friday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Thence to St. Mary’s Church where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment , St. Mary’s cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.

Pre-deceased by her son Ronald.Proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.Predeceased by her brother Jack McAulliffe.Visiting at the Stewart L. Kennedy Funeral Home 128 Talbot St. N. Essex, Ont. (776-7378) on Sunday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Family and friends are asked to gather on Monday November 17, 2003 at St. Mary’s Church, Maidstone at 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Mary’s cemetery. In kindness memorial donations to the Children’s Hospital of Michigan would be appreciated by the family.

Devoted mother of Gary (Patricia), Carolyn (Clifford), Linda (Bruno), Penny (Charles), and Thomas (Debbie). Cherished grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 8. Loving sister of Ruby Manol, Lloyd (predeceased) and wife Pam. Doris will be sadly missed by her caring and devoted friend Joyce Smith. Aunt Doris will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Dear mother of Lynda and her husband Bruce Hartley of Markdale, Bob and his wife Lynn, Tiny and her husband Dayle Lawrence and Mike and his wife Margo all of Owen Sound, Debbi and her husband Allan Gunn of Annan, Dawn and her husband Paul Dossman of Chatsworth, Cindy and her husband Brian Maher of Barrie and Casey and her husband Dan Ballantine of Calgary. Sadly missed by 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Betty and her husband Steve Young of Indiana, 8 brothers in law and 6 sisters in law. Predeceased by her parents Leslie and Dorothy Fair, 1 grandson Matthew Maher and 2 brothers Bobby and Gordon Fair. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock with Rev. Scott Sinclair officiating. Memorial donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated.

Dear father of Randy and wife Kim, Wheatley; Kim and husband Gerry VanDeven, Wheatley. Loving grandfather of Michelle and Chris VanDeven, Derek, Cole and Kendra Robinson. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Mary Robinson and by a brother Harry. Dear son-in-law of Howard Jones, Leamington and the late Dorothy Jones. Jim and his family have owned and operated Robinson Motorcycle in Wheatley since 1958. He was a life member of Erie Ramblers Motorcyle Club, a member of the Leamington Fair Board, Talbot Street United Church and was involved in local oil and gas exploration. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street Leamington on Monday 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Jim’s life, from the funeral home on Wednesday August 20, 2003 at 11 a.m. Pastor Susan Wood and Rev. Olav Kitchen officiating. Interment Erie cemetery , Wheatley. Memorial donations made by cheque to would be appreciated.

Loving grandfather of Kathy and Rob Allan of Cambridge, Wendy and Jamie Keillor of Hamilton, Jennifer and Brad Finucan of Waterloo and Sarah Riman and Darell Hartlen of Calgary, Alta., and great grandfather of 6, and great great grandfather of 1. Brother of Eric and May Riman, Les and Vera Riman all of Hamilton and the late Victor and Gladys. Art was a veteran of WWII serving with the Lincoln and Welland Regiment and a retired 42-year employee of the former Canadian Porcelain Company.
