Wife of the late Earl Fraser McDonald. Dear sister of Emmerson Lancaster of Thornbury. Aunt Betty will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers Cecil and Donald Lancaster. Mason, Albert Edward, 83 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2003 at the Sun Parlor Home, surrounded by his family. Albert was born October 27, 1919 and was a loving husband to Jean (Bristow) for 61 years. Devoted father of Jo-Anne and Garnet Jaynes, Kingsville; Jackie and Glenn Hodge, Peterborough. Dearest grandfather to Kathy and John Spevak, Ruthven; Matthew and Sarah Jaynes, Almonte; Vanessa Hodge, San Mateo, Calif.; Shane Hodge, Toronto; Stephanie and Harshad Varsani, London, UK. Great grandfather to Veronika, Natasha and Chelsea Spevak and Owen Jaynes. Dear brother of Kathleen Anderson, Elaine Bell and the late Thomas Mason and Lena Waggot. Dear brother-in-law to Mary Simpson and the late Pearl Longland. Many loving nieces and nephews also survive. Albert was with the RCAF and a veteran of WWII. He retired from Chrysler Canada in 1981 and enjoyed being a school bus driver part time along with working on the family farm with wife Jean, until they moved to Kingsville in 1997. Albert was also a Councillor and Deputy Reeve of Gosfield South Township.
