BOLT, Peter John

passed away after a short illness at the Haliburton Hospital on Monday, August 13, 2001 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Fortune), dear father of Andrea and her husband Chris Coysh of Minden, Karena MacMillan and Kevin Croft of West Guilford, loving grandfather of Tristan, Adric, Emily, Connor, Rebecca and Greg. Fondly remembered by his family and friends. Friends are invited to visit the family at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 Main Street, Minden on Thursday, August 16th, 2001 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

AUSTEN, Harry Franklin

passed away suddenly at the Minden Hospital on Monday, August 13, 2001. In his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Jennie (nee Rogers), dear father of Roger and his wife Kathy of Riverview, N.B., Brenda and her husband Tim Carroll of Nipigon, Matthew John and his fiancÈe Kyla Marie of Peterborough. Loving grandfather of Amanda, Laura and Sarah Austen, Sarah Carroll. Dear brother of James, Allen, Nelson, predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Jennie, Jack, Danny, Kate, Bob, Hugh, Ella, Laura, Walter. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends were invited to visit the family at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Main Street, Minden from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday, August 16, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. Interment at the Minden cemetery. Reception to follow in the family centre. Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

SUTHERLAND, Donna

On October 17, 2001, serenely at home, surrounded by loving friends, Donna danced into the light after a challenging journey with ovarian cancer. She is greatly missed by her long-time companion, Beverly Hunter, her mother Mary Sutherland (St. Thomas); sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Colin Yates (St. Thomas) and nephew Christopher (Kelowna). Beloved auntie to Julia, Joel, Ben, Laura, Talya, Tyson, Matt, Martin, Lee, Matthew, Ellen, Adrienne, Meghan, Mariah, Mishke and Deej. Remembered by dear friends near and far. Service at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Main Street, P.O. Box 427, Minden, K0M 2K0 (1-888-588-5777). Visitation on Friday, October 26th, 2001 from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Memorial Service on Saturday, October 27th, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. Interment after service at Twelve Mile Lake cemetery , Carnarvon. RUSSELL, Edith (nee Welch)

passed away peacefully at the Hyland Crest Senior Citizen's Home on Tuesday, October 16, 2001, at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late Eldon (1963). Dear mother of Doris Jennings of Minden, Dolores and Mac MacGregor of Hall's Lake, predeceased by her son and daughter-in-law the late Elmer and Fran. Loving grandmother of Russ, Tom and Teri, Nancy and Rick, Scott and Luanne, Stuart and Susan and great grandmother of nine great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Alice Watt and by brother-in-law Harvey Russell. Friends were invited to visit the family at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Main Street, Minden K0M 2K0 (1-888-588-5777) from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral Service was held in the Chapel on Thursday, October 18th, 2001 at 1 p.m. Interment at St. Stephen's cemetery , Boshkung. Reception followed at the Club 35, Hall's Lake. passed away peacefully at his daughter's home in Kanata. Beloved husband of Ruth Evelyn Cameron. Loving father to Lynn (Geoff) Nokes, Sandra (Tom) Etches, Heather (Andy) Kwok, John (Joyce) McIntosh, Tom (Mikki) McIntosh and Joanne (Alan) Merriam. Cherished grandpa to Kevin, Derek, Mark Nokes; Tom, Michael, Ruthanne, Rebecca, Elizabeth Etches; Christopher, Jason (deceased), Lisa, Lorraine Fisher; Carrie-Anne, Shannon, Andrew McIntosh; Steven, Kirsten (Kime), "TJ", Katelyn McIntosh; Angela, Daniel, Kathryn, Alana, Sarah, Rachel (deceased) Merriam. Great grandpa to Christian, Jacob, Makayla and Mackenzie. Loving son of Mary (Edgar) MacFarlane and George (deceased) and Midge McIntosh. Beloved son-in-law to Vernon & Elizabeth (Thornton) Cameron (both deceased). Loving brother to Les (Betty-deceased) McIntosh, Mary (John) Strange, Norm (Velma) McIntosh. Beloved brother-in-law to Phyllis, John (deceased), Bruce, Don (deceased), Peg, Clyde, Bob, Allan and spouses. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends were invited to visit the family at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Main Street, Minden (1-888-588-5777) on Saturday, October 20 from 7 until 9 p.m. and on Sunday, October 21, 2001 from 1:30 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3 p.m. Cremation followed. In memory of John, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

STEVENSON, Lillian

passed away peacefully at the Hyland Crest Senior Citizens Home, Minden on Thursday, October 18th, 2001. In her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Hartley Stevenson (1959). Loving mother of Ron and his wife Valerie of Mississauga and grandmother of Sandra. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Lily Beech; by her sisters Emily, Edna, Edith, Eliza and by her brother George. Friends were invited to visit the family at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Main Street, Minden K0M 2K0 on Saturday, October 20, 2001 from 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Reception followed in the family centre at the Funeral Home. Private Interment will be held at the Minden cemetery. Memorial Donations to the Hyland Crest Residents Fund would be appreciated by the family.

Loving mother of Dawn (Nick) Stefanowicz of London, Dwaine (Lori) Lloyd of Haliburton, Dean J. (Heather) Lloyd of Toronto, Glenn (Janet) Reimers, Linda (Ray) Smith, Tammie Cooper, Brenda (John) Cocchiaro and Dean A. (Diane) Reimers all of Florida. Dear sister of Marie (Garnet) Lindsay, Myrtle Stapley, Eunice Ireland, Ephraim (Evelyn) and Daniel (Louise). Predeceased by her sister Lois. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends were invited to visit with the family at the United Pentecostal Church in Cooper City, Florida, on Saturday. passed away on Sunday, June 22 nd, 1997 at Extendicare, Haliburton, surrounded by his family. In his 88 th year. Beloved husband for 65 years of Mabel of Minden and formerly of Scarborough. Loving father of Ken (Jean) of Scarborough, Helen (Bill) of Kingston, Fran (Norm) of Scarborough, Barry of Etobicoke, Ralph (Barb) of Burlington. Loving grandfather of ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

passed away suddenly at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Tuesday, June 17, 1997, at the age of 89. Irene is predeceased by her husband Albert Hilton Miles, son James Albert Miles, daughter-in-law Berdena (Toots) Miles and by her brother Jack Daniel. Irene is survived by her grandchildren, Sherri, Judy, Susan, Chris, Dorinda, by her ten great-great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Aunt of Jane Anne Graham (Daniels) and great aunt of Angela and Mark. Family and friends visited at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home, 127 Main Street, Minden on Friday, June 20, 1997 from, 12:30 to 2 p.m. with the Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Fenelon Falls cemetery. ROBINSON, Florence (nee Rogers)

passed away at the Minden Hospital, after a lengthy illness, on Thursday, October 2, 1997 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Phillip Robinson. Loving mother of Janice and her husband Jack Shaw of Minden, Bradley and his wife Maggie of Etobicoke. Loving grandmother of Douglas, Karen, Donna, and Phillip. Florence is survived by her brother Roy Rogers of British Columbia and predeceased by her sister Grace Voycey. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and many friends. Friends and family visited at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home on Friday, October 3rd. Funeral Service was held at the Minden United Church on Saturday, October 4th. Interment Gelert cemetery. At the Guelph General Hospital on Friday September 19, 1997, in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Vera (Hardie). Loved father of Robert of Stratford, Linda and husband Chris DiCarlo and Donna and fiance Mark, all of Guelph. Loving grandfather of Jeremy DiCarlo. Dear son of Louisa Loucks of Elora. Survived by a sister Lenora Biagi of Hamilton and brother Donald Loucks of Campbell River, B.C. Predeceased by a sister Donalda Loucks. A private family service was held at the Wall Constance Funeral Home & Chapel, Guelph. Interment Woodlawn Cemetary, Guelph.
