passed away in hospital on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at the age of 76. Emile is survived by his wife Lillian (nee Pope) and his children Darlene Lapointe (Georges), Linda (Gerry), Rick (Micheline) and Tony (Samira). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Melanie, Marie, France, Darryl, Craig, Jordan, Julie, Robyn, Eric, Tasha and Ryan. Relatives and friends will be received at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orléans, on Friday, September 17, 2004 from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 p.m. and on Saturday, September 18, 2004 as of 9:30 a.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, September 18, 2004 at 11 a.m. If desired, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Jeanne (Dicaire) Charlebois. Cherished grandfather of Matthieu Lacroix and Zara Tétreault. He is survived by his sister Louise (Hubert Lavoie) and his brother Michel (Marguerite Dubuc). Predeceased by his sister Jeannine (Bernard Jacques) and his brother Guy. He will also be missed by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. Leona, an exceptional person, will be fondly missed by all who knew her. passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Georges Beauchesne, who passed away in 1984. Loving mother of Lucien “Lou” (Daniele Cloutier) of Orléans, Robert (Joanne Ménard) of Chelsea, Louise (Louis Sweeney) of Ottawa, Michel of Gatineau and Nycole (Jacques Plouffe) of Aylmer. Gilberte was predeceased by 2 sons; Richard (Denise Plouffe) of Ste. Julie and Pierre (Louise Trottier) of Plaisance and also by 2 daughters Monique and Denise. Cherished grand-mother of 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Lucille Vallière of Sturgeon Falls and predeceased by 7 brothers and7 sisters. She will also be missed by many nephews, nieces and friends. Fraser, Lois Merrill

Peacefully at home on August 20 at age 81. She will be cherished and missed by those in whose memories she will never die - her sister Laura Gardner, her four children Rick, Merrill, John and Nancy, their spouses Marie-Claire Michaud, Maria Yax and Colin Carson, as well as her nine grandchildren Emily, Nicky, Russ, Sid, Amy, Sam, Niko, Lucas and Rebekah. She was predeceased by her brother Fred Sparling, his wife Ruth, brother-in-law Bill and her former husband Robert. Lois lived her life to the fullest - cherishing time spent loving and being loved by her family, delighting in her many friends, serving her community and travelling extensively. In addition to achieving a Master’s degree in Social Work, she was a voracious reader, a gourmet cook, an amateur historian, a political pundit, a decipherer of mystery books, a home champion of Jeopardy, a solver of countless crossword puzzles and throughout, a model of grace, good manners, and proper grammar to her children and grandchildren. Her compassion and generous spirit were reflections of her strong faith which guided her daily life. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23rd at the Mount Royal United Church, Montreal. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Society of Canada would be appreciated. Age 49, peacefully on Monday, August 9, 2004 with family and close friends at her side. Proud member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for 27 years, presently serving at the Canadian Police College in Ottawa. Elsie will be especially missed by her best friend and husband of 24 years, Mark, and her children, Lindsay and Caset, who were the lights of her life. Beloved daughter of Elson and Isabel Arnold and daughter-in-law of Ingeborg Jones. She will be sadly missed by four sisters, four brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, all of whom had their lives enriched by her selflessness. Always positive and always with a smile on her face. Memories of Elsie will be forever cherished by everyone who knew her. A celebration of Elsie’s life and a reception will be held at the Canadian Police College, 1 Sandridge Rd. (at St. Laurent Blvd.), Ottawa on Friday, August 13, 2004 beginning at 11 a.m. and again on August 18, 2004 in Kincardine, Ontario.
