Suddenly at home on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at the age of 63 years. Beloved wife of Henry. Loving mother of Michael (Darlene) and Monique. Grandmother of Christian, Daniel and Lillian. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Alexandrine Bent. Sister of Richard (Celyna Cholette-Bent), Sandra Monachan, the late June Lebrecque and Shirley Moore. She will be remembered by her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at her parish, Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, 153 Woodroffe Avenue on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

With his family and their friend Joyce Pedley by his side, Neil F MacCrimmon of Dunvegan Ontario peacefully passed away at the Civic Campus of the Ottawa Hospital on Sunday, August 27, 2006 at 6:45 pm following a five-week illness from an aggressive form of lymphoma. Neil was 85. Beloved husband of Margaret (MacCrimmon) for 56 years. Dear Dad of Ann, Glenn (Lynda Pedley) of Ottawa and Norma of Whitehorse/Dunvegan. Also survived by two nieces Beverley (Jack) MacRae of Ottawa and Patsy (Eckhardt) Heinrichsohn of Powell River B.C. and their families. Predeceased by his parents Fred Neil and Christie Ann (MacSweyn) MacCrimmon, two sisters Penelope MacCrimmon and Isabel (late Earl) Bradley. He is already missed by special pets Lucky and Stretch. In keeping with Neil’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service (To quote him “Keep it simple-no party”) and Neil will be cremated. Donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital 20260 County Road 43 Alexandria Ontario, K0C 1A0 or to the Ottawa Hospital Civic Foundation “Intensive Care Unit” 737 Parkdale Ave., second by the family to acknowledge the excellent care and kindness of the Doctors and nurses.

1918-2006 Peacefully entered into rest at Starwood Extendicare Nursing Home on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Jean McKibbon (nee Sinclair). Dear father of James S. McKibbon (Lavena McLeod) of Ottawa, Carol E. McKibbon (Ron Robinson) of Winnipeg, W. Scott McKibbon (Shelagh) of Brockville, and Mary Ellen Böckler (Waldemar) of Oakville. Cherished grandfather of Erin McKibbon, William Böckler, Richard McKibbon, Erynn Böckler and Deanna McKibbon. Predeceased by his 5 brothers and 7 sisters. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. (nee Neel) In hospital, on Monday, August 28, 2006, at the age of 75, after a battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Derek Morris and loving mother of Paul, Graham (Esther), Donald (who died in 2004), and Anthony (who died in 1958). Fondly remembered by her granddaughters Jasmine, Tasha and Yvonne. Dear sister of Gerald Horsefield (Gwyneth) in England. Yvonne was an active member of MacKay United Church, where she will be missed by many friends. She was also an active volunteer who brought joy to many people. A Memorial Service will be held at MacKay United Church, 39 Dufferin Road, Ottawa, on Thursday, September 7th at 3 p.m. Reception to follow in the Church Hall.
