It is with great sorrow her sons announce the passing of Christene Larrabee, at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital on August 1 2003.
Born January 12 1913, at Gascoigne P.E.I. Predeceased by her husband John (Jack) M. on March 25 1979. She is survived by her sons, Eldon J. Donna) of Ottawa and Roger A. Richmond B.C. Her younger sibilings Jack(Christine) Gillis, Belle River Marion MacMillan, Charlottetown,,Annabelle (Herbert) Lee, Florida. Predeceased by her sister Katherine and brothers Samuel and Kenneth.
The service celebrating her life will be held at The Kirk Of St. James on Wednesday at 10 a.m. A private interment will be held at St. Johns Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Belfast. If so desired memorials to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. In memory of Jack who left to soon. No visiting hours by personal request. Mother of Elizabeth (Allen) Monkley, Valerie (Lew) Robinson, Johnny (Una) and Linda (Bruce) MacMillan. Grandmother of 12 grandchildren and great grandmother of 8 great grandchildren.

The death occurred at the Prince Edward Home in Charlottetown on Friday, July 20, 2007, of Frederick Andrew Coles (Fred) in his 105th year surrounded byJudy, Mike, Joshua & Jessica. The last surviving member of the family of Frederick J. and Susanna Coles (MacRae), Fred was born in Springvale, PEI, December 30, 1902.Predeceased by his parents and siblings: Daniel, Mary (Alex MacLean, Duncan McIntyre), Reagh (Belle), Sadie (Archie) MacLeod, John Coles, Annie, Katherine(Earl) Bradfield, Suzie (Jim) Morrow, Ruth (George)Stewart. Also predeceased are his brothers-in-law: Ivan (Lillian) Andrews and Raymond (Tillie) Andrews.Lovingly remembered by his son, Keith (Joyce) Coles and daughter, Judy( Burgoyne Landry) & Michael Landry; Grandsons Alan (Annna) Coles and David (Lynn) Coles of Halifax, N.S., and Joshua (Jessica) Landry of Three Hills, Alberta; Great grandchildren are Alexander, Jonathan, Andrew, Michael, and Ellen Coles. Brother-in-law Leith (Ann) Andrews.Fred farmed the family farm in Springvale known as Country View Farm where heraised purebred Jerseys and later purebred Angus cattle. When Fred reached his 100th birthday the Aberdeen Association of Canada recognized him as the oldest living Angus breeder in Canada. Fred was a devout Christian. His humility and kindness endeared him to many of the wonderful staff and volunteers at the Prince Edward Home where he resided for the last seven years. The family sincerely appreciates the kindness and care shown to Fred by Dr. Meek and the staff and volunteers at the Prince Edward Home over the last few years, particularly their extra efforts in the recent months.
