Leona Mae Weir
Peacefully at her late residence on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 of Miss Mae Weir of Charlottetown, in her 89th year.
Beloved sister of Ms. Anne Burhoe; and twin sister, Mrs. Isabelle Shepherd.
She is also survived by sister-in-law, Florence Weir; special niece, Julie (Brian) Carmichael; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Catherine (Quay) Weir; and her brother, John “Jack” Weir.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home for visitation Thursday 2 – 4 p.m., followed by the funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 4 p.m.
If so desired, memorial tributes may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the Canadian Cancer Society.
Mary Kathleen Smith
The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday January 28, 2005 of Mrs. Mary K. Smith (nee Power) of Charlottetown in her 90th year.
Dear wife of the late Linus E. Smith and beloved mother of ; John [Gladys] Smith, Mary [Gordon] McGuirk, Gerald [Betty] Smith of Toronto, Ontario and Marlene [Fenton] Smith.
Mrs. Smith will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren,1 great grandchild and her brother Reg [Laura] Power. She was predeceased by her brother Emmett Power and her twin brother Gerald Power and her grandson Wayne McGuirk.
Resting at the Charlottetown Funeral Home 33/35 Longworth Avenue until Tuesday morning at 9:45 a.m. then transferred St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m.. Visiting hours Monday 2 to 4 p.m. & 7 to 9 p.m. Interment later in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.

Ivy Merrill Chappell
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, January 28, 2005 of Mrs. Ivy Chappell (nee Marshall) of Charlottetown in her 85th year.
Beloved partner of Angus Campbell and dear mother of Hilda (Harold) MacQuarrie, Gladys Ellis, Archie Chappell, Doris Trainor and Calvin Chappell.
Ivy will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her eighteen loving grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, seventeen great- great grandchildren and two great- great- great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents: Lawrence & Evelyn (Williams) Marshall, her sister, Evelyn Birt-Ross, brother, William Marshall and grandsons: Leigh Mac Quarrie & Bruce Mac Quarrie.
Resting at The Cutcliffe Funeral Home. At her request there will be no visitation and a private family funeral service will be held.
Interment to take place at a later date in the family plot at St. James United Church Cemetery, West Covehead.

M. Freda Mac Donald
At The Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, January 31st., 2005 of Mrs. M. Freda Mac Donald (nee Feehan) of Gower Street, Charlottetown aged 75 years.
Beloved wife of the late Kimball Mac Donald and dear mother to Rona Brown and Randy (Donna) Mac Donald.
Freda will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her grandchildren: BrIa, Beth Ellen and Brett Brown, her sister, Lorena (Bob) Coulson, brothers; Raymond (Lillian) Feehan, Reuben Feehan and numerous nieces & nephews.
Besides her husband, Kimball she was predeceased by her infant daughter, Rhonda, her granddaughters; Nikitta Mac Donald, Jessa Mac Donald, son-in-law, Joel Brown and brothers; Wilfred “Buddy” Feehan & Reginald Feehan.
Resting at The Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Wednesday Morning then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at a later date in the family plot at The Roman Catholic Cemetery.
If so desired memorials in Mrs. Mac Donald’s memory may be made to The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation Equipment Fund.

T. Edward “Ted” Creighan
At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2005 of Mr. T. Edward “Ted” Creighan of Skyview Drive, Charlottetown aged 70 years.
Beloved husband of Helen (nee Walsh) R.N. , and dear father to Karen and her husband, Alan MacPhee of Fortune Bridge, P.E.I.; Mark Creighan of Ottawa, Ontario; Paula Creighan of Toronto, Ontario; and Sean Creighan and his fiancé Crystal of Charlottetown, P.E.I.
Ted will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his brother, Dr. Paul Creighan;
his sisters, Mary (Dr. Lloyd) MacKenzie, Charlotte (Martin) Draksler; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marcus Strachan, Fran Walsh, Peggy Walsh, Ernest (Jean) Walsh, James Ayers, Gladys (Jack) Campbell, Thelma (Bob) Acorn R.N., Sister Doreen Walsh, C.N.D., Mary Walsh R.N., Wally (Madeline R.N.) Walsh, Phyllis (Ron) LeClair; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by his infant son, Michael; parents, Thomas & Mary (Smith) Creighan; brother, John Creighan; brothers-in-law, Maurice Walsh, Pat Walsh, Louis Walsh, Art Walsh; and sisters-in-law, Eileen Ayers and Rita Strachan.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral home until 9:45 Saturday Morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to take place at a later date in the family plot at The Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Members of The Knights of Columbus are asked to gather at the funeral home on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. for a prayer service for their late brother.

Irene L. Gillis
At the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Rowley, Massachusetts following a three year battle with cancer on Wednesday November 10, 2004 of Mrs. Irene L. [ nee MacKinnon] Gillis aged 74 years. Born in Canoe Cove, P.E.I. she was the dfaughter of the late Ewen & Jean (MacEachern) Mac Kinnon.
Beloved wife of the late Gordon Gillis. Irene will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her daughter; Marlene [George] Bolster of Rowley, Ma.; grandchildren George, Christopher and Justin Bolster all of Rowley, Ma., brothers and sisters; Melvin [Vaunda] MacKinnon of North River, Keith [Mona] MacKinnon of White Horse, N.W.T., Erma MacLaughlin of Charlottetown, sister-in-law Beverly MacKinnon of Stoney Creek, Ont. and brother-in-law Everett Gillespie of Charlottetown and many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Lester MacKinnon and a sister Mary Gillespie.
