Suddenly at Tignish as the result of a Highway accident on Thursday July 3rd.2003 of Andy Joseph Richard Cherished son of Allie and Betty Anne nee Morrissey Richard age 15 years.
Beloved Brother of Adam (Girlfriend Heidi Shea) Brandy and Matthew. Dear Grandson of Jackie and Aldona nee Perry Morrissey and Leo and Marina nee Perry Richard. He will always be remembered by his many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

The funeral for the late Andy Joseph Richard beloved son of Allie and Betty Anne Nee Morrissey Richard of dalton Ave Tignish was held om Monday Morning July 7th.2003 from the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton to St.Simon and St.Judes church Tignish where funeral mass was celebrated at 10;30 AM by the Rev.Albin Arsenault who delevered the Homily and Had the Prayers of final commendation and Fairwell.
The First Reading was addressed by his Aunt Linda Richard. The second Reading was addressed by his Uncle Phil LeClair. The Prayers of the faithfull were invited by his cousin Michelle Milligan. The Euchristic ministers were his Aunt peggy Aylward and Darlene Doucette, and Seminarion John Melina .The Crossbearer was melvin DesRoches and the candleberarers were Gerard LeClair and george Doucette. The Entrance Hymn was I will never forget you My People and Don't be Afraid. The Psalm was The Lord is my Shepherd, The Offitory solo Chil in my Eyes was rendered by Bruce Arsenault. The Communion Hymn Solo God of the Mountain was rendered by Mary Perry also during Communion Connie LeClair rendered a solo I will carry You The Song of Fairwell was I Know that my Redeemer Lives, The Recessional Hymn was Amazing Grace. The Violinest was Dennie Pitre, The Gutirest was Cathy Doucette, Vincent Doucette and Bruce Arsenaylt.

Suddenly at the Western Hospital Alberton on Saturday, June 7th, 2003, of Alice Rose Gaudet, beloved wife of the late Edmund Gaudet, of the Tignish Seniors Co-op Home and formally of Tignish Shore, age 92 years.
She was the last surviving family member of the late John and Mary nee Chaisson Gallant. Lovingly remembered by her Sons Gerard (Jean) Gaudet of Kinkora, Hercules (Irma) Gaudet of St.Felix, Her Daughter Stella (Leonard) LeClair of St.Felix and by her two adoptive sons David (Evelyn) Gaudet of Tignish Shore,and Terry (Elaine) Gaudet of St.Felix. Daughter of the late James and Laura nee Handrahan Harper. Predeceased by her First husband Howlan Gavin in 1954 and by her second husband Lloyd Shea in 1988.

Phyllis gave generously all her life – of her love, time and compassion. The seniors at Phillips Senior Residence, the Maplewood Manor, the Davis Lodge and the Co-op Senior Residence, the Tignish Co-op Health Centre and the Catholic Women’s League were all beneficiaries of her kindness. She was always ready to help at St. Simon and St. Jude Church. And she collected for numerous charities.
Resting at Rooney’s Funeral Home, Alberton, for funeral mass at St. Simon and St Jude Church, Tignish, 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 19. Visiting hours Tuesday, March 18, 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. The Tignish council of the CWL will hold a prayer vigil Tuesday afternoon at 1:45pm.
