John J. Butler
At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, March 30th, 2004 of Mr. John J. Butler, of Nassau Street, Charlottetown, aged 78 years.
Beloved husband of Teresa (nee Rossiter) Butler, and dear father to Andy (Ruth) Butler, Sheila Vaive, John (Lynn) Butler, and Cathy Shaw (Graeme).
John will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Steven, Laura, Sarah, Nicole, Brandon, Ryan; his sisters in-law and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew & Maude (Callaghan) Butler; brothers, Father Ted Butler, Frank Butler, Louis Butler, Wilfred Butler; sisters, Margaret Butler and Gertrude O’Donnell.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Saturday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m.
Members of The Holy Redeemer Parish C.W.L. will hold a prayer service for The late Mr. Butler at the funeral home on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m.
If so desired, contributions in Mr. Butler’s memory may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Equipment Fund or the Canadian Diabetes Association.

John Esler Taylor
At The Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, March 31st., 2004 of Mr. John Esler Taylor of Marion Drive, Stratford, aged 79 years.
Beloved husband of Dede (nee Shephard), and dear father to Judy (Richard) Roper;
Marlene (Ken) Foley; Sharon (Alan) Doyle; Robert (Sally) Taylor; Donna (Randy) MacDonald and Darren (Bev) Taylor.
John will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his grandchildren; great-grandchildren; his sisters, Elvira (Ken) Stewart; Ramona (Johnnie) Campbell; brother, George Taylor; and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel D. & Leah (Judson) Taylor; brothers, Ernest, Edison; sister, Sylvia; grandchildren, Nikitta and Jessa MacDonald in infancy, Chad Lund and Ashley Taylor.
Resting at The Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Friday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the family plot at The Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Joseph Halfonces Laybolt
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 of Mr. Joseph Laybolt of Morell in his 73rd year.
Dear father of Joyce (Harold) Gavin, Darlene (Blair) Richard, Joanne (Lester) Brown, Bonnie (Wade) Bingley, Debbie Laybolt, and Joey (Lori) Laybolt.
He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Elvia Kennedy, Basil Laybolt, Sterling (Valerie) Laybolt, Wilfred (Rita) Laybolt, Loraine Laybolt, Willie (Theresa) Laybolt, Shirley (James) Irving, Valerie (Kevin) MacKinnon, John (Sandra) Laybolt and Kenny Laybolt; sister-in-law, Earnestine Laybolt; brother-in-law, Warren Rose; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, George and Nellie (Deveaux) Laybolt; brother, Leamond Laybolt; and sister, Judy Cudmore.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 12:15 Saturday afternoon, then transferred to St. Andrew’s Church, Mount Stewart for funeral mass at 1 p.m.
Interment later in St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery.

Donald W. “Doonie” Mac Lean
Mac Lean: Donald W. “Doonie” – The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Saturday, April 3rd.,2004 of Mr. Donald W. “Doonie” Mac Lean of Westway Drive, Charlottetown aged 49 years.
Beloved husband of Judy (nee Mac Phee) and dear father to Amanda (Justin) Thompson, Dustin Mac Lean (Lisa), Shelly Mac Neil, Melinda (Kirk) Axworthy, Donald “D.J.” Peters (Tanya), Tanya Rowe (Leon), Suzie Rowe (P.J.), Jeremy Burke, Nathan Burke, Evan Grant and Haley Mac Lean.
Doonie will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his parents; Donald Mac Lean and Mildred (James) Smith, his brothers and sisters; Debra Hennessey, Sue Mac Lean, B.J. (Danny) Matheson, Patty (Dan) Everson, Jody Ross, Jody Mac Lean, Lisa Mac Lean, eight grandchildren, his grandmother; Mrs. Alice Mac Lean, numerous nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his grandparents; Malcolm Mac Lean, Wilfred & Freda Hardy.
Resting at The Cutcliffe Funeral Home until Tuesday then transferred to trinity United Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Reverend Karen Mac Leod Wilkie officiating. Interment to take place at a later date in the family plot at Union Road People’s Cemetery.

Judy M. King
Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday April 3,2004 of Mrs. Judy M. King (Nee MacInnis) of Charlottetown age 62 years.
Beloved wife of the late Louie King and dear mother of David King (Yolande Richard), and Allan (Krista) King and proud grammy of Kelsey.
She is also survived by her brother Allan McInnis (Donna Madore) and her aunts Cecelia Rice, Laura Jenkins, Mary Wakelin, Judy Glover and Myra Currie.
She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Olive (nee Casford) McInnis and an infant brother.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral until 10:15 on Tuesday morning then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.
Interment to take place later in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Judy’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
