Francis Bernard “Frank” Gillis
The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Thursday, July 08, 2004 of Mr. Frank Gillis of Palmers Lane, Charlottetown, age 78 years.
He is survived by his sister, Lillian Jimmo (Alvin) of Orleans, Ontario; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Catherine (MacDonald) Gillis; sisters, Mary McKearney, Rita MacDonald, Bernice Cheverie; and brothers, Everett, Daniel, and George Gillis; and special friend, Verleen Wickstrom.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral until 10:15 Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown.
If so desired, memorial tributes may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Oncology Unit.

Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 1 Charlottetown will hold a Veteran’s Tribute Service at the funeral home on Friday evening at 6:45.

Joseph Stanley “Melvin” Mac Cormack
Suddenly at The Sackville Memorial Hospital, Sackville, New Brunswick on Friday, July 9th.,2004 of Mr. Joseph Stanley “Melvin” Mac Cormack of Mount Herbert Road, Stratford aged 74 years.
Beloved husband of the late Annie Mac Cormack (nee Clow) and dear father to the late Brenda Monaghan (nee Mac Cormack).
Melvin will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his grandson, Blair Monaghan (Heather), grand daughter; Gail Monaghan, great-grandchildren; Matthew Rogerson, Brianna Squires, Destiny Richard, sisters; Cecelia Roberts, Lydia “Cookie” Mac Innis, Rosie Fanning, son-in-law; Paul Monaghan and numerous nephews and nieces..
He was predeceased by his parents; Joseph & Suzanne (Court) Mac Cormack, brothers; Danny Mac Cormack, Clayton Mac Cormack and sister; Marjorie Clow.
Resting at The Cutcliffe Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. Reverend Joy Noble officiating. Interment to follow in The Suffolk Road Cemetery.

Regis J. Coffin
Suddenly at Tracadie Cross as the result of a highway traffic accident on Saturday, July 10th.,2004 of Mr. Regis J. Coffin of Heritage Drive, Cornwall, aged 51 years.
Beloved husband of Marlene Coffin (nee Birt) and dear father to Tracey Coffin (fiance The Late Roger Crockett), Tanya Coffin (Joey) and special stepfather to Gina (Jeff) Stewart and Ryan Dockendorff (Anne Marie).
Regis will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his grandchildren; Kyera, Kason, Jamie, Alyissa, Aiden, brothers and sisters; Billy Coffin (Millie), Mary (Ivan) Mullen, Freddy Coffin, Ann (Victor) Baldwin, Marion (Allan) Mac Phee, George (Koren) Coffin, Theresa (Allan) Trainor, brother-in-law; Wilbur (Barb) Birt, his numerous nephews, nieces and many friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; Jimmy & Tilly (Evans) Coffin.
Resting at The Hennessey Funeral Home until 1:15 Wednesday afternoon then transferred to St. Andrew’s Church, Mount Stewart for funeral mass at 2 p.m. with interment to follow in the family plot at The People’s Cemetery, Mount Stewart.

Judy Smith
A Memorial service for Judy Smith who passed away December 9, 2003 in Ottawa, Ont. will be held in the Cutcliffe Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 16, 2004 at 2 p.m., Reverend Lorraine Quinn officiating.
Judy is the beloved wife of Bob Uline and cherished mother of Matthew and Andrew MacDonald. Judy is also fondly remembered by her mother Aletha Martinell and her sister Janet [Stewart] MacCallum.
Viola Elsie MacDonald
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth hospital on July 12, 2004 of Miss Viola (nee Killam) MacDonald of the Lennox Nursing Home, Charlottetown age 69 years.
Dear mother of Gordon 'Junior' MacDonald of Charlottetown and James MacDonald of Cardigan.
Mrs. MacDonald is also survived by six loving grandchildren, Melanie, Melinda, Gordon, Lindsey, Travis and Amanda; two great grandchildren, Bailey and Bryson.
