BOXER, Reva (née Albert). On Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in her eighty-first year. Beloved and devoted wife of Irving. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Jo-Anne, Mark and Debra, Evan and Susan. Cherished Bubbie of Alexandra, Shayne, Blake, Matthew, and Zoe. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Bernie and the late Barbara Albert, Lily Albert (Art), the late Louis and the late Edie Albert, and the late Harry Albert (Joyce); and sister-in-law of Shirley and Lou Cherry, and the late Joseph Boxer. Reva will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to the staff of the CLSC Saint-Laurent, and to the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, December 5 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the B’nai Brith Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. An Auschwitz survivor. Suddenly and peacefully, on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Silvana Pontecorvo. Loving father and father-in-law of Italo and Orna, Julia and Dimitri (Jimmy). Cherished ‘Nonno’ of Alexis, Dario, Nadya, and Caryna. Predeceased by his brother, Luciano and sister, Wanda. Enzo will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family, and all of those in Italy and Canada whose lives he touched. The family would like to thank the staff of Centre d’hébergement de Sainte-Dorothée and the Dialysis Centre at Sacré-Cœur Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Morty and the late Annie, the late Dena and the late Al Kravitz; and brother-in-law of Madeleine and Gerry Ritz, the late Lois and the late Ross Peters. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Helen and Pinchas Gurkevich of Israel, and the late Lee Ross; and brother-in-law of Sharon and Shelley Wiggins, Beverly and the late Gerald Zwaigen. Hymie Teddy Milberg

It is with infinite sadness that we announce the passing of Hymie Teddy Milberg on Monday, December 1, 2014. Beloved husband and best friend of Patricia. Dearest father of Tamara (Peter) and Tanya. Adored Zaidie of Ana Amelia “Millie” of Switzerland, Logan, and Blythe of Scotland. Teddy graduated with a BA (Hons) from Sir George Williams University and MA in Education from McGill. He taught for more than forty years and inspired generation of students, including his own daughters, with his love of reading, math and scientific discovery. Twice a Shell Canada Fellow at the University of Calgary as well as President of the Quebec Association of Geography Teachers, he was immediate Past Worshipful Master 2013-2014 of Meridian Royal Alexandra Lodge No 125 G.R.Q., A.F. & A.M. AF Masons. He will be fondly remembered by Francis, and by his friends and colleagues at Kahnawake, the “Bagg Street Shul” and the Mesifta. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Francois Patenaude and Dr. Jennifer Friedmann, who over the last twelve months made his journey with cancer bearable through their unfailing encouragement, understanding, and compassionate care.
