She will be sadly missed by her sons, Norm (Edith) and Allan (Miriam); grandchildren, David (Robin), Lynne, and Brian; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Rebecca. Predeceased by her parents and siblings who perished in the Holocaust. Adopted by the Bloomberg family. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Wife of the late Istvan Halmos (Pista), the late Hans Nemenoff, and the late Andrew Gellert (Bandi). Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Micky and David Blask, Gabor and Jane Gellert, Andrew Gellert. Cherished grandmother of Lauren and Craig Brown, Sarah Blask; Adam Gellert, and Eric Gellert. Adoring great-grandmother of Julian and Gabriel Brown. Sadly mourned by her nieces and nephews. Born in Lugos, Hungary, Imy was deported to Auschwitz, where her first husband perished. An avid lover of classical music, she, along with her husband Hans Nemenoff, was one of the co-founders of Musica Camerata Montreal.
