PEREL, Estelle (née Greenspoon). Peacefully, on Saturday, May 2, 2015, in her 101st year. Devoted wife of the late Isadore Perel. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Dr. Morton Perel and Jane Lunin of Providence, RI, Harriet and Dr. Fredrick Muroff. Loving ‘Nana’ of Lorelei Muroff, Ursula Muroff and Dr. Howard Blackstien, Ingrid Muroff, Daniel Muroff and Jessica Fridman. Proud ‘Grand-Nana’ of Kaylie and Brooke Blackstien. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jeanne and Sydney Greenberg. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Saul Greenspoon, Eli and Matilda Greenspoon, Dave and Hilda Greenspoon, Evelyn and Harry Lazar, Beatrice and Alec Slapcoff. Estelle will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her loving devotion to her family, she served many additional roles: sign maker, fashion consultant, mentor and friend – in all instances with passion, dependability, humor, love of life, love of people and dedication to all the values she truly believed in. She was a determined, independent and elegant woman who will be missed by all who knew her.
