Paul Kean
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Kean on Saturday, June 19, 2015, in Montreal. Paul died peacefully at the age of 86 years and 4 days. At his side for Father`s Day were his devoted and loving wife Susan and children, Ronny and Dana. He was a hero, provider and role model to his children who attribute their life skills and success to the wisdom he imparted. Extremely clever, witty, strong-willed and big-hearted, his was a life well lived. Born June 15, 1929, in Budapest, Hungary, he was a tough as nails, pessimistic, self-made and self taught, European immigrant Holocaust survivor. He was admired and respected as a world travelling, street smart entrepreneur who was fluent in seven languages. He always imparted kindness, wisdom, and his vast life experiences to others, including his daughter-in-law Nicki and grandchildren, Lauren and Evan, who adored him. He set the bar high, leaving us to follow in his sizeable Hungarian footsteps. We are grateful to all who share our sense of loss at this time as we wish him bon voyage on his next great adventure.
