RAMAGLIA, Richard (Ricky). Peacefully and with great dignity on Sunday, November 12, 2000. Beloved and devoted husband of Luce Gosselin. Cherished father to Alexandra. Adored son to Renee and Ernest Ramaglia, son-in-law to Evelyne and Guy Gosselin. Also survived by his sister Michelle (Robert Gee), sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law as well as other relatives. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. The visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, on Wednesday, November 15, 2000 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. The service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, November 16, 2000 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated.

REID, Walter Andrew. At the Northumberland Health Care Centre, Cobourg on Monday, November 13, 2000. Walter Andrew Reid was born in 1906 in Guelph, Ontario. He graduated from Queen's University in Kingston with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. Walter was a member of the Chartered Accountants Association and spent the majority of his career in a senior executive post at McGill University in Montreal. He is predeceased by his wife Beatrice Jessica Reid (nee Dowzer) and his son John Willison (Jock) Reid. A Memorial Service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E., Cobourg, on Thursday, November 16, at 2 p.m. Those wishing may make a memorial donation by cheque to the Northumberland Health Care Foundation or to a charity of choice.

Much adored grandfather of Merle Rosenhek (Michael Kaplan), Stephen Rosenhek (Helene Lussier), Ruth Rosenhek (John Seed), David Levitan (Laura), Linda Levitan (Mark Beal), Julie Korman (Niel Stein), Pamela Korman (Francois Dostaler) and Joshua Korman (Tamara Lextrum). As a loving great-grandfather he will be deeply missed by his twelve great-grandchildren. A private family burial service will be held.

RAIKLES, ILAN. On Saturday, December 2, 2000, after twenty-six years of courageously engaging in battle with the dragon "Cystic Fibrosis", the valiant Prince Ilan was slain. Tho' weary, he drew strength from the members of the court. His royal parents: Queen Marlene, King Jocelyn, King Marshall, Queen Paula. His sister, Princess Dahlia. His grandparents: the Grandqueen Ida and the late Grandking Israel Lewis, the Grandqueen Shirley Raikles-Goldman of the Lake Worth principality in Florida and the late Grandking Sol Raikles. The Knights of the round table feature Aunt Neile and Uncle Joe Schlein, Uncle Abbey and Aunt Jeanne Raikles, cousins Rebecca and Hannah Raikles. The Fair cousins and sisters-in-honour of the Prince, Stacey (and Kerry) Schachter and Candace Schlein. His troops and allies were many, including Dr. Hani Shennib. The doctor fought a great battle for Prince Ilan, thereby giving Ilan seven and half more years to drink mead, break bread, and enjoy the young maidens. Ilan fought the battle with tremendous courage and dignity. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, December 4 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Yehudah section, de la Savane. Shiva private. Donations in his memory may be made to the Quebec Cystic Fibrosis Association, 877-6161.
