LAWRENCE, Audry Alyce. Peacefully after a short illness on Sunday, August 1, 2004 at the age of seventy-eight, of Brossard, Quebec. Beloved wife of Alfred John Lawrence (deceased), dear mother of Lesley (Desautels) and Anthony John. Loving grandmother of Patrick and Daniel. McCORMICK, Reina Yvette (nee Martin). Passed away at the Centre Hospitalier de Lachine in the early morning hours of July 30, 2004 at the age of seventy-nine. She will be greatly missed by Robert (Bob), her devoted husband of forty-six years and by her loving daughter, Kathryn. She also leaves behind her sisters Fernande and Lucille and her brothers Gerard, Hubert and Germain, along with many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends (both young and old). Reina will be remembered by all for her love of children and animals, for her devotion to family and friends, for her passion for cooking and entertaining and above all for her special gift of always making others feel welcome in her home. A memorial service will be held at St. Veronica's Parish, 1300 Carson Ave. in Dorval, on Saturday, August 7 at 10:30 a.m. A light lunch will be served at the same location immediately following the service. ARNOLD, Lorne. Arthur Lorne Arnold passed away suddenly at home in St. Bruno on Wednesday, August 25 in his eighty-second year. Dearly loved husband of Judy Baker, much loved father of Elizabeth (Brian Kozak), Anne (Art Blakey), John, (Helen Berns), David, (Karen Anderson), Michael (Silvana Fernandez) and Peter (Morgan Delisle). Loving grandpa of 14 wonderful grandchildren. Visitation at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Home, 1559 Montarville, St. Bruno - Sunday, August 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. The funeral service will take place at St. Mark's Chapel, Bishop's University in Lennoxville at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 30.

de POOTER, George Joseph. Passed away at his home in Guelph, on Tuesday, August 24, 2004. George J. de Pooter, in his ninety-first year, was the beloved husband of Merirose (nee Allen) de Pooter. He was the dear father of John, Martine (Peter Drysdale), Gerry (Carolle), and Renee (Joe Grant). His last conscious days were spent with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Sincerest thanks to Doctors Rosemary Danielli and Tom Morris, and the nurses of St. Elizabeth for their compassion and care in maintaining the quality of George's life until the end. Funeral service will be held at the Union United Church, (3007 Delisle St. corner of Atwater) on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at 11 a.m. Followed by burial at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery. Visiting hours 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that a donation be made to the Diabetes Foundation of Canada.

GUIHAN, John Robert (Skip). Very sadly at age fifty-nine, we lost John at Lakeshore General Hospital, on August 24, 2004. Best friend and dearly beloved son of Mary and the late John Sr. Dear brother to Dave (Leonie), Saundra (Ken Eaves), Barry (Linda Candussi), Dorinda (Yves Turcotte) and Kerry.
