Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Andy and Cynthia, Gail and Alan Marcovitz, Heather and Brad Zipkin. Cherished "Bubby" of Melanie, Ryan and Brandon Adelson; Danielle, Jaclyn and Adam Marcovitz; Jordan, Lauren and Justin Zipkin. Sister and sister-in-law of the late Sabina and the late Syd Wolofsky. BAKER, Sue (nee Weisbord). Peacefully on July 26, 2004 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, St. Jerome. Beloved wife for sixty-four years of Joe. Mother of the late Buddy (Terry), Elliot (Robin) and Steven (Phyllis). Grandmother of Ava, William (Janet) and Gavin. Great-grandmother of Marc Druckman. Sister and sister-in-law of Katie Stern (the late Paul), the late Nat Weisbord (June), the late Sydney Weisbord (Phyllis Amber), the late Sally Nodell, the late Moe Baker, the late Eli Baker. Aunt and great-aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. A woman of spirit loved by all. Funeral took place July 30 in Hollywood, Florida.

LACOMBE, Patricia "Pat" (nee Lynch). After a lengthy illness, died peacefully on August 11, 2004 at the age of eighty-four. Beloved wife of John Lacombe, Dorval, Que. Loving mother of Kathryn Elizabeth Woodward (Doug) and cherished grandmother of James William, all from Rockwood, Ontario. Devoted and loving daughter of the late James J. Lynch and his wife, the late Elizabeth "Bessie" Lacombe, Ogdensburgh, N.Y. married at St. Mary's Cathedral on June 27, 1953 by her uncle and godfather Monsignor Denis Lynch. Dear sister of Kathryn "Cissy" Bromling (Allen), Ogdensburgh, N.Y. Predeceased by her sister Mary and her brother James in infancy. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins in the United States and Canada. Resting at J.J. Loving mother of Sandra and Kenneth. Predeceased by her brothers Bill, Ernie, George and sister Mabel Fishlock. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Phyllis was a St. Mary's graduate nurse, class of 1952, and devoted over twenty years to caring for the handicapped at Garry Taylor Centre in Beaconsfield.
