WRIGHT, Betty Myra (nee Richmond). Peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2003 at the age of eighty-years. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Wright. Loving mother of Robert (Margaret Whittaker). Dear grandmother of Eric. Survived by her sister Daphne Askew (Donald, of Michigan). Also by sisters-in-law Jackie Richmond of Georgia, Mary Poirier of British Columbia and Sally Turner of Northern Ontario. She will be sadly missed by her nephew Hugh Richmond and niece Aleta Lowden. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Collingwood, Ontario. In memoriam donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, Ottawa, ON, 613-737-7900.

Cherished Bobie of Elliot and Leanda Miller of Toronto, Stuart Miller; Ronald Burt and Sabina Figueira, Jeffrey Burt and Liz Bazini. Loving great-grandmother of Ethan Miller; and Megan Burt. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Joe and Nelle Lakien, the late Aida Lakien, the late Sylvia Spear, the late Tillie Mendelssohn, the late Doris Katz, the late Anne Milz, and sister-in-law of Anne White. Sadly mourned by her nieces, nephews, and family. HAGARTY, Lawrence Michael. Oct. 18, 1912-Mar. 4, 2003. Late of Stouffville, Ont. and long time resident of Beaurepaire, Que., passed away peacefully at the age of ninety. Mike was predeceased by his wife Florence Kathleen (Kay) Stanley and one great-grandchild Linden Travis Cerezke. He is survived by his three children, Maureen Cerezke and her husband Ken of Barrhead, Alberta, Michael Hagarty and his wife Edith of Makham, Ont. and Beverley Mitchell and her husband David of Erin, Ont., his sister Blanch (Linda) McVean and brother William Hagarty of Beaurepaire and many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his granddaughters Laura-Lee Moes and husband Arie, Beverly Lawton, Brenda McEwan and husband Kip and his grandchildren, Karleigh, Kyla, Alekzander, Luke, Justin, Jarred, and Holley. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held on March 15, 2003 at 2 p.m. at the Beaurepaire United Church, 25 Fieldfare Ave., Beaconsfield, Que. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

She was surrounded by her devoted children. Beloved mother of Gloria, Patti, Michael (Rona), loving grandmother of Daniel and Richard, cherished sister of Michael Finestat (Ruth) and Dr. Ted Finestat (Molly). Close treasured friend of Ben Niederhoffer. She will be sadly missed by her family, nieces, nephews and friends. She provided a tremendous inspiration to everyone who knew her.
